After buying extra sticky pads all is well

This is about what you would expect in an inexpensive unit.It came right on time.Worked fine out of the box.The little plug that covers the charger hole (why cant they just use a C cable like everyone else?) promptly fell off and now I don't like to leave it on the back of the truck for fear moisture will wreck it.But, it is a helpful tool when I am trying to get out of a parking spot and not hit someone.

Not real good night vision, day time works great

I used it while driving a U-Haul truck from Florida to North Carolina. Really strong magnet. Holds it firmly in place. Good range. It’s own Wi-Fi signal is strong. It’s cost-effective since you don’t need to purchase a monitor as it works with your smart phone. The only issue is that more often than not the device does not work when you’re talking on the phone. I’m going to continue to use it when I transport my E-bikes on my rack. The app is basic but it does the job. It looks like the charge should last an entire day of use. I have no qualms about recommending this to anyone.

I was having a hard time deciding what backup camera to buy for hooking up my trailers. I decided on this because of the price and no wiring. It had some bad reviews not pairing with phone but I decided to give it a try because it could be returned. I can use this for hooking up my gooseneck trailer an then I can also use to hook up my tandem trailer. And then keep an eye on the live stock in the trailer. The magnet works great and comes with velcro too.The camera paired up fast with my new S21 android. Signal is strong. Like anything eles it takes a little practice looking at the phone to line up with the ball. But it does the job. I keep the camera charged an when I need to attach one of my trailers I put the camera where I need it. I have no complaints about this camera. It works for other things as well working around the house where you need another set of eyes. And you can take pictures too.I highly recommend if you have a newer phone. Not sure about older phones.

Works in the trailer you are towing, but will not work for more than one person at a time. I thought I may be able to see the inside of the trailer that our friends were towing if we were close but it would not let more than one person open the app. Not bad product if you just need to see something to make sure it's safe.

Works well for multiple uses. Helpful for backing Off Grid Trailer, especially in determining distance. Easy connection with iPhone using camera app. First camera failed, but seller was very helpful and prompt in replacing camera with a new one. Excellent customer service.

I am using this product to hook up trailers on my full size pick up. The wifi fades out by the time I enter the cab of the truck and the picture becomes intermittent at best. The color resolution is poor at best. The contrast between the dark colored(rusty) trailer hitch ball and the black trailer hitch on dark colored pavement causes the picture to be very difficult to read. I use white paper on the hitch and the ball to get enough color contrast to be able to see the ball go under the hitch. I cannot use the camera magnetically attached to the tailgate near the ball because the wifi signal will fade to zero by the time I get in the cab to back up the truck. I made a special bracket to place the camera on top of the tailgate then the camera barely works intermittently in the cab of the truck. It does work barely - I am very disappointed in my purchase. I will keep it because it barely works and I do not want to spend a lot of money on a more expensive camera because I do not plan on keeping this truck very much longer. Its sad when companies sell products that don't work very well.

First off, I need to say that I’ve not been able to use this for it’s intended purpose as my new caravan hasn’t yet arrived. However, I have set the camera up and just wandered around with it held in my hand and have to say, it’s really good! I downloaded the correct app from the apple store for iOS and once installed, switched the camera on and image was straight on the phone screen which is great for a technophobe like me!I knew already that my rear panel on the caravan is ABS plastic so purchased a set of four, rectangular, self adhesive metal magnetic mounts to fix to the rear of the van. Loads on here if you do a search. What I wasn’t prepared for, was the tail gate on my Audi A6 avant, is non magnetic? It’s aluminium so the ‘extra’ mounts I purchased are going to come in really handy for mounting the camera to the rear of the car for hitching up the van.When arriving on site or putting the caravan back on the driveway, the camera can be placed on the rear of the caravan to assist in reversing onto the pitch or drive. I’m not sure that I would want to leave the camera attached whilst towing, although it really grips to the metal plates, so much so, that the camera needs to be slid off the plate rather than pulled off! The magnets are that good 👍Perhaps some sort of secondary tether could be created in case the camera did blow off whilst vehicle was in motion. Guide lines show on the phone screen to assist in positioning but they don’t adjust for length or width but they can be switched off if required. Images can be captured too and stored on the phone.A point to consider, questions have been asked about replacement USB power leads for charging the camera? It uses a barrel type plug with normal USB at the charger end. I purchased a universal mains charger kit very cheaply off here which had a few barrel type connectors, selected one adapter that fitted and used that to charge rather than the supplied cable. Not going to be an issue there then and the charger might come in handy elsewhere for the myriad of USB connections that we seem to have these days! Range of the camera seems really good, I mounted on the roof of the car (steel) to initially test this and continued walking away from the car. Didn’t lose the image on my phone even at approximately 40 metres which is amazing! I accept I had clear line of sight between phone and camera but image quality was great and I cannot envisage any issues. I also tried it in the house on different floors and again, good solid connection. All in all, a very neat solution for me, no cabling required for either the car or the caravan, very quick and simple to set up and connect which is very good. The self adhesive plates (not supplied as part of the camera kit) can easily be removed at a later date with no drilling or screwing to the vehicle or caravan. This model is also the newest updated version of this camera and looks very good quality. I’m happy, or I will be when I finally get my new caravan delivered so I can use it for its intended purchase.

Really impressed with this product. I bought it mainly as a camera for monitoring my horse in the trailer whilst travelling, which it works really well for. The added bonus is that it can easily be moved and I also use it for hitching up the trailer. I often do it on my own and it makes the whole process so much quicker and easier. I found the camera really easy to set up and link to my phone and the picture is good quality.

Very nice quality item. Easy to set up with the app. Good quality image. Recharges also.Very good magnet to attach to vehicle. Full printed instruction in box also.Delivery was quick too. I would highly recommend it.

Bought this camera for use when towing the caravan to keep an eye on what was going in behind me, and it does the job very well.. Very east to connect, very clear picture, (a little lag at times) but all in all a great bit of kit..
