The part was a perfect fit and it worked right away. The steps included: 1. Detach the unit from the cabinet frame (4 screws); 2. Move the unit out of the cabinet so the top cover can be removed (a 4-ft step ladder was perfect to sit the unit on; the unit was hardwired in the back to the wall and the cable was not long enough to move the unit to the ground level); 3. Detach the electric cables that connect the front display panel to the board on top of the unit (2 adjacent connectors on the board, located at a right angle, both with clips); 4. slide the front display panel upwards to detach from the metal frame; 5. Replace the old digitron with the new one (2 screws; there are also 2 positioning pins at the top corners); 6. Put it back together.

Very poor quality. It worked about 2 months and then stopped. Contacted the seller multiple times and was referred to microwave manufacturer rather than replace it. Manufacturer has nothing to do with it since it’s a 10 year old micro. Waste of money with this seller. Very frustrated.

We have a 22 year old GE Advantium 240 volt oven and the LED display was blinking and getting so bad it was unreadable. The Digitron for this oven was no longer available so I took a chance and ordered the one made for the Advantium 120 volt oven and, lo and behold, it worked. We'll be able to use it again since there is nothing else wrong with it. We are so happy.

I bought from a seller called Hamlin Tech. The Digitron is supposed to be new OEM, but it came in an open clear plastic bag with no writing on it. Typically OEM from GE is in a labeled (and closed) bag that makes it clear the product is legit. So this may not have been OEM and it may not have been new (clearly open bag). It works, but now the microwave has a slight shake in the area where the Digitron was replaced (makes a mildly annoying noise with every use of microwave that wasn't present before). Beware of this seller.

My son and I replaced the part and inserted the microwave oven back into the cabinet in about 30 minutes from beginning to end. The new display is brighter and cleaner too. You will save yourself a lot of money doing it yourself. Otherwise, you are looking at service call to assess the part, return service call with the part, and markup on the part. Take pics along the way if you are unsure of reassembling. There are some instructions and videos available to help too. Symptoms were pretty much like everyone else's - display worked fine, in and out occasionally, and then quit displaying. The microwave worked fine all during this time.

This was a perfect solution, exact match to the existing display board. The old board display started flickering. Replacement was reasonably easy, just pulled the unit out a bit, accessed the various screws and replaced it.

My GE profile GE Advantium 120 microwave was have display problems. It was completely out and could not see anything on the screen. I ordered this part and replaced it. It solved the problem, it old took me about 20 min to remove the microwave from the cabinet and take it apart and replace this part. Take photos so you can plug the right plugs into the original prongs. Yeah!!!!!

Purchased 9-19-2022. Installed 3 weeks later. Died 9-18-2023
