Babymouse #1: Queen of the World!

Babymouse – Queen of the World (Babymouse S.) was brought for my daughter who loved it.

I love Babymouse as a way to get struggling girl readers into reading for pleasure. The text is fairly simple within a colourful engaging graphic novel.

I read these as a kid and I still love them. Love it

Just why? This was like reading a bad sitcom out loud. Like I want to read about a mouse whose worried about a popular mouse. Really disappointed. Also we are supposed to root for the mouse who spills food at a party and then leaves to watch TV with a friend? The mouse has terrible manners. I don’t care how popular the other mouse is- you don’t treat other people poorly. No excuse for Babymouses behavior.
