I was actually quite surprised by how well made the trains are - lovely colours, there's quite a lot of detail on them, they look lovely. The wheels solution is well executed, all works well i.e. it cars don't derail or get stuck. The connectors between the train cars are also well made. The track pieces are connected with little clamps and once these are on the track holds really well. All in all, it's a really lovely set - my son loves it. At age 4 and half he's able to assemble the track with little help, after I showed him how to connect the pieces with the little clamps. It's actually a good exercise in precision for this fingers to put the little clamps on.

A lot more track than expected plenty to go round the Christmas tree which is what I purchased it for

I bought this for Christmas 22 to go round the Tree and waited until after the festivities to submit review. It has been brilliant running with out fault. Packaging is good, all parts are in a formed polystyrene tray inside cardboard container. Straightforward to put together and start up, clear instructions. The battery which is very easy to remove and replace is charged by USB cable included. Once charged runs for hours and it does steam as it runs. Everything is plastic but strong and looks nice. Great value for money.

Tolle Eisenbahn für unter den Christbaum. Zusammenbau ist sehr einfach nur das auf die Schienen stellen erfodert etwas Geduld. Fährt dann aber sehr schön und auch die Dampffunktion funktioniert einwandfrei.

Not the same product as the image and descriptions. Very bad quality and very difficult for kids to use. Not hot bee but "orbita home" brand. For sure not for 3+ years because It has very small parts and the tracks have to be built piece by piece because they don't fit together as per the image.

The thing we don’t like is the smaller size of the wheels. Makes it a bit harder than necessary to put all the wagons onto the rails.( Really only a minor gripe) The kids loved it and when we had it actually running laps under the tree: it seemed to embellish the whole experience for children. They also loved the train noises and the smoke from the funnel.( just add water into the boiler) The cost was good. The shipping was very quick and fair. We thought if it was no good then we hadn’t wasted a whole lot of money- but this thing looks great just as a static display. However, we’re pleasantly surprised how it turned out. Yes- we as slightly sceptical purchasers recommend it! Very happy with it.
