The only complaint I have is actually about Amazon, not the product. They keep packing very light weight items in with very heavy items. This time everything arrived ok but last time they did this we weren't so lucky and I had empty capsules from the bag that broke open all over the inside of the package, a bunch rolled out of a hole in the box, were all over my living room floor and front porch and I wouldn't have been surprised if they were all over inside the delivery van too. This time care was taken in the packing and everything arrived safe and intact. And I gotta say, in my area I much prefer the Amazon delivery people over things being shipped ups. The Amazon people are so much more careful and really do a great job. I get happy when I see an Amazon truck pull up to the house rather than ups. Now, about the capsules themselves: perfect size for what I needed them for. I buy certain supplements in bulk because it's much more cost effective. Not everything needs a size 00 capsule (the most commonly used one). It's really great to find these other sizes. Size 1 is smaller than 00, 2 is smaller yet, and so on. These definitely dissolve after swallowing because I am indeed getting my supplements. They are easy to swallow. They are easy to lock shut by pushing them all the way closed. Just be careful because these little capsules are slippery and easy to drop! So just keep that in mind and you'll do fine. I work with them over a table so they don't fall on the floor if I drop any. I really like the colors too. I like being able to quickly identify what's inside a capsule by the outside color because it might be one I filled several days back. Just makes it easier. I have bought many different sizes and colors empty capsules from this company and no complaints. I will continue to buy from this company as long as they keep making these quality products.

I need to split one of my Rx meds to 50%, it is not manufactured any lower strength, so we fill each capsule to half dosage. The capsules open easily for filling and the price is good. So we recommend them.

I recently ventured into creating my own supplements and decided to try these empty gelatin capsules. Their size 1 is perfect for my needs, holding between 300 to 600 mg of powder, depending on the density. The transparent design made filling them straightforward, and the snap-shut feature ensured no spills—a relief for my kitchen counter! One evening, I got so engrossed in filling these capsules that I almost encapsulated my dinner spices—curry-flavored vitamins, anyone? However, I did notice that a few capsules had minor imperfections, but nothing that hindered their use. Overall, these capsules have been a reliable choice for my DIY supplement journey, offering both convenience and quality.

Used these for my mother, who is in assisted living. Because of her dementia, she can't remember when she's taken painkillers so runs the risk of overdosing, but her dementia isn't to the point where she'd be fooled by M&M's. The providers also need to be able to keep track of her medication and her pain, but explaining this to her only stays in her mind for mere minutes. The cost of placebos is outrageous (more than actual pain reliever!), so I figured we'd try these, filling them with powdered sugar. First, they are SO much easier to open, fill, and close up than trying to empty capsules already filled with medicine (which we desperately tried while waiting for these to come in). The first time I gave her these was when she was complaining that she was in severe pain and the nurses wouldn't give her anything. 15 minutes later, she couldn't stop talking about how the pain was gone and how "Tylenol" was like magic. Kinda messy filing them, but it's something you can mindlessly do while watching TV. I wondered what I was thinking ordering a thousand, but I filled enough to give a supply to siblings who visit her and realized that we will probably be ordering more sooner than I'd thought. That gives you an idea of how she swallows them like candy. Ignore the tweezers in the pic. While messier, it goes much more quickly holding the clear side of the capsule and scooping up the powdered sugar. Putting them together, you'll feel a snap, which means they're securely closed, so now worries about them coming apart, even when you pile them in a dry dish towel to wipe the sugar off the outside.

My cat is currently taking liquid chemo meds, but unfortunately, he hates the taste. To not waste the meds, I bought empty capsules to fill. Overall, these capsules are great. I was able to add his meds, snap the capsule closed, and get him to swallow it with minimal effort. Unfortunately, it states the Size 1 will hold .5ml; however, that is most likely the non-liquid volume. When trying to fill with .5ml of liquid, the size 1 is too small. I was only able to add .4 without spillage, and ended up having to fill 2 capsules vs the 1. While this worked just fine, it wasn't ideal based on the circumstances. I'm giving the size 1 four stars just because the size isn't 100% accurate for liquid meds, and it doesn't differentiate liquid vs powder, etc. I did end up buying the size 0 from the same company, and gave that size a five-star rating. It holds the .5ml of liquid with no problem. I was able to give my cat his meds today without issue using that size capsule.
