Hot Talk, Cold Science: Global Warming's Unfinished Debate

The science is far from settled.
Counters the hysterical fear mongering which is driven by a political agenda. Theoretical speculation produced by computer models which can be fine tuned to say anything you want is not scientific evidence

This is a good book
This instructive book methodically and scientifically explains why the climate change agenda is a hoax. Here's a short summary of this fine book: sea ice in Antarctica has been increasing [pg 64]. There is no evidence linking rising CO2 to climate change [pg 66]. There is no climate crisis resulting from human activities [pg 103]. Sea level rise is not, repeat not affected by the use of fossil fuels [pg 137]. What should we do about climate change? Nothing at all [pg 161]. Wildfires in California are the result of bad forest management - - not global warming [pg 191]. This is a great book to read/ own for reference if you think the climate change agenda is a scam. It's also noteworthy that Richard S. Lindzen, Emeritus Professor of meteorology and atmospheric science at MIT, the world's top science university endorses this book. Hence nobody can label the authors "climate deniers" or "science deniers". I recommend this masterpiece.

A clear treatment of the science of climate science and the intertwined politics.
I bought the hard cover edition. The book is 234 pages long and most of the 16 chapters are less than 20 pages each. There are 193 pages of text before the References section. The chapters are preceded by sections titled Acknowledgments, Foreword to First and Second Editions, Foreword to Third Edition, Preface, and List of Figures and Boxes. Sections Afterword, References, Acronyms, Index, and About the Authors follow the chapters. The figures are all in color, and, thus, are easy to understand. This is a real treat as almost all other climate science books use reproduced figures in black, white and gray tones. The style of writing was easy to understand. I thought the book was easy to read. Those simply interested in the subject of climate science and those who are lay scientists should find the book easy to understand. Dr. Singer discusses not only the science concerning climate science, but also the intertwined politics. This is what makes the book worthwhile reading. You come away with a clear understanding of why the climate science realm is so contentious, volatile, argumentative and biased. The entire subject of climate science is very complex and cannot be explained in this one short book that he has written. However, Dr. Singer provides just enough information to explain most of the science and the politics comprising the subject.I’ve read professional scientific papers and other general circulation books written by Dr. Singer. I’ve found him to be honest, clear and unbiased when explaining the various sub-topics of climate science. I would rate this book excellent and highly recommend it! It’s a great addition to one’s collection of climate science books.Raphael KetaniSunnyside, NY
