Compact, Quiet, Effective
This dehumidifier is drawing lots of water from the air since it's been extremely humid here lately with a daytime rH around 80% and the nighttime rH at 100%. The room I'm using it in measures about 157 square feet (1280 cubic feet) and I'm emptying the half gallon water bin 2-3 times a day. Thought about using the continuous drain hose with a plastic tote yet I'd most likely forget to empty it and make a mess everywhere. I don't mind emptying and like that it beeps to notify when it's full. One of the reviewers was upset and gave one star because they misunderstood the water capacity amount vs the average number of pints that can be extracted in a 24 hour timeframe based upon air temperature and rH. 30 pints is 4.5 gallons so obviously it's not going to hold that much in the tank. LoL It'd be super heavy and tough to empty if it held that much. The bogus bad reviews made me hesitant to choose this seller yet I'm very happy that I did. The shipping was fast and the packaging was solid with plenty of cushion. Am glad too since the Amazon warehouse put the box on it's side inside of a bigger box without any padding, even though the arrows say this side up, fragile, handle with care. That being said I made sure to unbox and let it sit for more than the minimum 24 hours before plugging it in. When it powered up the room's rH was a dangerous 84%, yet i literally watched the numbers drop to 60% within hours. Sweet relief from humidity. It does produce some heat when the compressor is running, yet it's quiet with a lower decibel level than the other seven 30 pint dehumidifiers that I had in my Amazon cart for several days while debating on the best choice in terms of quality, efficiency, and affordability. Would definitely recommend this seller and their products based upon the pleasant shopping experience and the relief that this machine provides to me, an asthmatic who lives in a humid area and can't afford air conditioning. The heat that it emits will be nice from October until May when it's cool outside, because this room is always humid even during the cold months. Whenever the air gets too hot I simply power it off and put the fans on high speed. Then I turn it back on after awhile and watch the rH gradually drop from +80% to 60-65%. Worth every penny. Thank you so much.

Quality dehumidifier at a reasonable price
Quality dehumidifier at a reasonable price. Digital display of rooms current humidity. You can set it to maintain your desired humidity. Quiet, compact design. Short hose can drain directly into sump pump or sink, you can use the removable reservoir to empty water when full. If you have a really wet/humid area, such as in your basement, you may want to consider getting two of them, or a larger dehumidifier. But for smaller areas, or areas that are not extremely wet, this dehumidifier works great!

The best LITTLE dehumidifier ever, but did I get scammed?
For the people that have had / will have failures with these, a quick tip. The delivery guy delivered both of my units upside down despite the first not being over packaged and clearly having “the side up” arrows. I would imagine most of the failures with these are due to units being similarly delivered, flipped over and immediately plugged in and run, which is death on a sealed refrigerant system, either immediately or in relatively short order. If the unit is delivered upside down, you wanna be sure to stand it up right for at least three or four hours, or ideally overnight before starting. And so first off, these are amazing little dehumidifiers. LITTLE (in water capacity, but not function) being the operative word. These little suckers will easily take out 25 to 30 pints of water per day. They are whisper quiet, even on the higher fan setting. The compressor noise is quite acceptable, you can easily sleep with one in the room. The unfortunate problem as mentioned in many reviews is the 5 pint size of the water reservoir. Indeed, in a large humid room, I have measured 28 pints removed in a day, which means six reservoir drains over the course of the day. The little included drainage hose is great. If you have a floor drain, you will absolutely not care about the reservoir capacity. However, if you don’t have a floor drain it is incredibly frustrating. But otherwise, as far as functionality and capacity for water removal for the physical size of the unit and price, you just can’t beat this thing. Where in lies my question if I got scammed. I ordered my first unit a few weeks before Prime day as an “early sale” and it was advertised as a 1500 foot room, 22 pints per day unit, on sale for $99. Aside for the capacity of the water tank I was incredibly happy with it, ended up putting it in my garage with the drain hose snaked out under the corner of the garage door. This amazing little unit will bring the 4 car garage down from 89% humidity well into the 60s over 48 or so hours with absolutely no effort. Being so impressed but frustrated about the reservoir capacity, during Prime day I ordered the 2000 foot 30 pint per day unit, on a better sale versus its original stated price again costing $99. Imagine my surprise when I received the exact same unit, same model numbers, exact same. When I had ordered the webpage still showed both options pictured and you could toggle between items/prices. However, now when I go back to my orders , although the listed descriptions on my order list are different, they both go to the exact same active page which no longer matches the order description from the original unit. I kind of think if there were originally two different sizes, I probably have ended up with two of the smaller, and likely despite the description that is what is currently being sold though the unit certainly meets the specifications stated as it would easily take out 30 pints a day, and indeed has a .528 gallon reservoir. In the end, since I’m still so impressed by these little guys, and since it was the same $99 either way I kept them both but sure would like a larger reservoir for the one I’m running in my kitchen.

Amazingly powerful
I did not expect this dehumidifier to be anywhere near as powerful as it is! It manages to noticeably reduce the humidity in our 2000 square feet home. It feels much less humid inside, clothes dry MUCH faster, and the humidity sensor in our air conditioning unit shows that the humidity dropped from 65% to 55% (that's the level we have the dehumidifier set to). Automatic shutoff works very reliably, we haven't had a single issue with it. It's reasonably quiet, and it's surprisingly small - doesn't get in the way at all, it's just sitting in the corner somewhere. The only downside, if any, is that it pulls so much moisture out of the air that you have to empty the tank about once a day. But that's a small price to pay, and if we had a floor drain available it would be no issue at all.

Works Great; Still Unusable
Pros: Does a fine job of pulling water out of the air, and in operation it is very quiet. Even the tiny "Full" alert chime is polite. Cons: Who is this designed for? It's small enough to use as a tabletop device --- but why, then, the unbrakeable wheels? The unit's controls and readouts are on its top, so, on a table or countertop, they would be unreadable. Which they are already, for the most part, being dim and ill-positioned, and cryptic besides. Sometimes flashing, sometimes solid, sometimes mute entirely, these numerals and LEDs are impossible to figure out, and the printed instructions are no help in explaining what they are supposed to mean. The real design failure, though, is the collection bin. Here's something you can count on: with any attempt to empty this bin, YOU WILL SPILL IT. It is literally impossible to handle without spilling. Try removing the bin from the unit: there is no handle, no detente, no gripping surface, no place to insert a human finger. YOU WILL SPILL IT JUST TRYING TO DETACH IT FROM THE DEVICE. You will spill it again just trying to get it to the sink. Once the "Full" alert has gone off, the bin is, indeed, full --- to the brim. The fact that it has a lid is no help, as the lid is perforated. Having carried it to a sink to empty it, you will spill it again; there is no place on its rim that can serve as a pouring spout. With some experimentation, it is possible to find an angle and speed at which to empty it without the water pouring out in two places at once; you will sometimes fail to find this angle. You will get a crack at it, though, four to six times a day, minimum. There is a narrow clear access window on the back of the bin whose function can only be intended to reveal the water level inside; too bad as the water level inside is invisible. The unit's wheels only serve to make it try and scoot away from you as you are forced to use both hands to remove the bin or reinsert it. This is a prime example of a product that performs its function admirably, yet whose industrial design fails so completely as to render it unusable.

Time tested and effective
This dehumidifier has been running non-stop since the day we bought it 3 years ago. It works great, and for the price, the longevity is impressive.

I'm happy with my purchase
I am very pleased with this. The quality has worked out and it performs great in the Oregon indoor humidity. This works way better than the $40 one that worked into the ground last year. Not very noisy, Auto shut off also is a blessing and you wouldn't know it was a dehumidifier. If you dont have a septic drainage, I was able to put this on a table and use the constant flow hose draining into a 1 gallon jug. Make sure the hose is pushed all the way on the unit. Great power and looks.
