I gave the beginner's set of aquabeads to my granddaughter who just turned 7. She loves them, and a few weeks later had used most of the beginner kit beads and hoped for more. From what I could see online, the beads can be used for many creations, but kids can also use the enclosed patterns to learn to follow directions, copy designs, etc. Much more creative than chasing critters in online games!

Oldest daughter (5) loves it. 3 year old likes it, too, but loses interest more quickly. Awesome activity for ages 5-7 for sure, I'd say. We ended up ordering a second to give as a gift at a birthday party to a fellow 5-year-old girl. Very ingenious craft. Can get a bit messy if they start spilling beads or water, but would recommend this to parents.

7yr old loves this. The case is good as stops them falling all over the place. The bead pen thingy is a bit too big in my opinion for any degree of accuracy, but it works (ish). Make sure you keep the beads and spray separate. All in all a good and entertaining toy.
