Fantastic set!
I was unsure of ordering this set since the reviews seemed very mixed & so had the results of the plates & the outcome of the stamper through the mailing process.. However, my stamper came in one piece & works like a charm! I had seen people saying some designs weren't etched deep enough which can commonly happen with things like this. I haven't tried EVERY design, but I at least tested 3 on each plate just to see how they'd work before leaving a review. Every design I tried came out extremely well. I wasn't using proper stamping polish however with all of them, so it was kind of trial & error, but the ones I did use the right nail polish on, they all worked flawlessly. I cannot wait to start using these on my nails now ASAP the next time I do them. All the designs are really beautiful & I've always wanted a clear stamper so it's easier to apply the design to the nail & it worked perfectly with every attempt I did. For the price, this set is extremely worth it! Especially if you're new to this, I think this set is very easy to use. I've been using stamping plates for a year now almost & I found these to be equally as good as the ones by PUEEN that I've paid $3.99 for for just ONE plate at Walmart, at least with this I got 5, which was way more worth it & more designs on each plate. The only negative thing about it is just the cleaning process of the plates is a little bit of a pain. I think the designs are etched so well, some of the edges are a little sharp, so when I try to use a cotton ball with the acetone or a tissue, it seems to catch or shred them a little, lol. But as long as I can clean them, it's not too big of a deal, I'm not taking the rating down for that, just wanted to warn people about it. I'm not sure what else to use to clean them honestly, but right now I'm pleased with this order & would recommend these.

Very good as a starter kit.
It's better to see youtube videos and start doing this. It is a great starter kit for beginners. I have only used the bc-04 plate but am very happy with it. The stamp might not need prepping as it comes a bit sticky already but just to be on the sage side i did prep it. First i wash with soap water (by just dipping it a few times. Then i rinsed it off with in a bowl of clean water. Then i used a nail file to buff it. It was ready for use that time.As the videos suggest i did use a light hand and did a rolling motion for the stamp to pick up the design. I used the same rolling motion to apply it as well. In between each stamping, i cleaned up the pattern with nail polish remover. Please be sure to dry off the plate after using the remover coz if you dont the stamp doesnt come out that well as it makes the nail polish thin. You can use any nail polish with it as long as the consistency of the polish is neither too thin (the design becomes runny) nor to thick (it dries too fast before you even transfer it).The manual itself mentions do not use nail polish remover on the clear stamp itself.

Cheap, Worthless
These plates are terrible, waste of money. I used a friend's Maniology plates to try nail stamping for the first time and loved it. So easy, and my nails came out beautiful. I wanted to try nail stamping for myself, but maybe not spend as much so I bought these. Absolute *garbage*. They are sharp on the edges and have no backer plate, and when I tried the plates out with stamping polish (not regular polish) 95% of the designs wouldn't transfer. Another set of Amazon plates I bought that were higher quality and deeper etching worked like a charm. And yes, I took the blue film off. I even washed the stamping pads to prep them for stamping.Again, trash, don't waste your money. I am returning them.

Didn't work for me
I thought this thing would be so cool but I honestly couldn't figure out how to use it right . My stamper wouldn't really work at all. I tried with a few different kinds of polish and still couldn't get it to work:/ still use the designs on my kids nails they don't turn out as good as I would like but it's OK. Just don't know if I would personally buy again myself but might be great for someone who can do it right

Light pressure
I have never attempted stamping before but I like it! I almost gave up when I tried it today. But then I watched a YouTube video about common mistakes and learned I was going too slow and using too much pressure with the stamper. It’s like gently rolling the pattern onto the stamper and off the stamper onto your nail. The pattern dries slightly and it’s more like laying a very fine, delicate piece of lace onto the nail, not like stamping a liquid paint onto the nail. Once I started to get the hang of it, it went much better!I used Dashing Diva nail strips with OPI polish with the stamper. And sealed it with Seche Vite gel effect top coat. We’ll see how well it holds up.On my big toe, I did OPI polish on top of OPI polish with the Seche Vite gel effect top coat.

Beginner at nail art
I am very impressed with the quality of the stamp plates. They are thick and heavy. The designs are great. My first two attempts didn’t work. A few videos later and I realize what I was doing wrong and imagine it’s common so I hope this helps someone. Once I did it like this it worked and I can’t wait to order more.Be sure to get stamping polish. When you “scrape” do it lightly. It’s ok if there are still streaks of polish on the metal around the design. The stamp likely won’t pick it up and if it does you can do a super quick clean up on the clear stamper. After you scrape you have to be QUICK. Stamping polish dries quickly. Roll the clear stamper instead of pushing straight down. Good luck

Didn’t work as expected
I’ve seen videos of how these are supposed to work and I think the grooves aren’t deep enough because the color barely shows up on top of other colors. I had success with a baby blue base color and white Stamp but others weren’t so successful. Also the stamper part keeps coming out of the holder every time I try to clean it. You get what you pay for and maybe it would work better with a different type of polish. I was using gel polish so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
