Closest I've seen
Exactly what I wanted it to be, might off in length but the only one I've seen on here to replicate the oxtail niuweidao with handle, guard and shape of the blade, durability isn't what i was looking for so swinging it against something else I can't speak on, but otherwise good.

Wow...this is really impressive
I was looking for a prop sword for a RenFair costume that was size appropriate for my frame (I'm 5'9"). This ended up being the ideal length but I had a slight concern about it being all black, as I needed it to look like a real sword. I figured I might be able to paint it and make it look more legit, and the price was low enough I decided to take a chance. So glad I did!!This prop is solid polypropylene, so has quite a bit of heft to it. The blade edge is rounded so there is nothing even remotely sharp, though if you really wanted to you could file the edges to create the appearance of sharpness (again the entire thing is one solid piece of injection molded plastic). I left the edges as is, but it will still cause serious damage if you hit someone with it simply due to the weight. To paint it, I used simple rattle can primer over the entire thing (just make sure you use something that will bond to plastic), sanded, and repeated three times to get a nice base. For the blade I used a "steel" spray paint, again doing three separate coats and letting it fully dry between each coat. The pommel and guard I used an airbrush with a brass acrylic paint...also three coats...followed up with a black wash and then some additional highlights. The whole thing was then covered up with three coats of satin varnish. The picture shows what the end result looks like. I will wrap the handle with some dark maroon leather to give it a bit of flair. If you are looking for a nice LARP or RenFair sword, and you have the patience and means to paint, I can't recommend this item enough.

Fun
Used these to spar and hit the crap out my buddys. The plastic is dull but the plastic still hurts like being hit with a brick depending on where your hit. Decent value, had them for about a year before one of the hand guards broke off. The hand grip is decently comfortable and the length of the blade is a decent size, wish it was a tad bit longer. The material is very strong so it’s hard for the blade to put bend or chip after multiple clashes.

Overall a great peace
The media could not be loaded. I have a lot of practice swords *(me and my step son practice together he is 8 )Compared to foam swords the tip beds a bit more *(block between 9/13 inch from hilt ) is the most sturdyAlmost all the weight is in the handle and the guard is quite large but feels good to swing ....My only complaint witch I did see other say ... I had a bend in the blade when it came it was 22 inches from the tip and bent ....This wasn't a problem for me though... I left it outside in 90° f on a 2/4 , and once hot I pressed between 2 bored till it cools and my blade was straight againBalance to blade is slightly off but still great for practicing, *adding a light ribbon banner off the ring fixes it tho , again I'm 99% happy with it *(I'd only make hilt a tad thinner for my use )

Great for martial arts practice.
I previously had a wooden sword for martial arts practice, however after several years it broke. Since this is made of polypropylene it should last a great deal longer! The sword is lightweight and great for practice. Since it is polypropylene, I am a little worried it may warp. Even if that is the case, it should still be usable. I have used this sword for several weeks and it is working well! Have fun, and improve your martial arts skills!
