I started baby led weaning at 6 months with my baby and this helps protect the neck and chest area. It won't keep your baby from being messy though. If you want a mess free baby then you'll need to look into a baby apron or long sleeve bib. I usually just take the shirt off.The bib is easy to clean right after eating. I thought the red sauce from pasta stained it since I didn't clean it right away but I just soaked it in some warm water with dawn soap and the stain was gone! The teething crackers was dried and stuck in the bib since I forgot to clean it but I just rinse/soaked it and everything came off.The Velcro is easy to put on but my baby is now strong enough to yank it off. But he usually keeps it on until he's done eating. When he yanks at the bib after his food is gone that usually means he's done eating anyways. If you use a bib early on then baby won't hate it.Baby can and will try to eat what does fall into the pocket which works sometimes. It does pretty well catching water when baby drinks. But baby will yank the bib and what ever is in the pocket will spill.Cute design if you like Mario stuff. I wish there were more Mario options or more neutral colored options. It comes with 2 bibs, but wished it had 3.Great gift idea. I bought the black and white mickey mouse for my sister and it comes with 3 bibs for that design.Recommend if you want something light, portable, easy to clean.

I like this bib but it wasn’t what I was expecting. It was rather thin. Like plastic tablecloth thin. However, it’s still one of my favorite bibs to use because the design is so cute, it’s easy to clean, and it covers her whole chest so her outfit stays clean. It also holds up well in the wash. This is one of the few bibs my daughter doesn’t automatically try to take off (she’s 14 months). She can, she just doesn’t try with this one for some reason. Overall, it was a good purchase! Wish it were a little thicker but oh well! She likes it so I like it.

I love this brand of bibs because of the fabric they use. It is very thin, lightweight, and completely water-and-food-proof. I feels like a fabric shower curtain. When baby is done eating, just a quick rinse works to clean it and then I hang it up over a cabinet knob to dry. All dry and ready for the next meal in 30 min or less! I wash it with the baby clothes and it comes out perfectly. The pocket does catch food or drips but I leave the bottom out (on top of the highchair tray) anyway. They are pretty large... I started using them when baby was 4 months old, just starting pureed solid food, and they were a little big around the neck. Now at 8 months, they fit great. I also just found out there is a smaller size! I wish I had known that but oh well. The catch is hook-and-loop and it stays on even if baby pulls at it. Very durable. I will be gifting these to any new parents I know.PS. Since these do not absorb anything, I would not use for bottle or breast-feeding.
