Sun Bum SPF 30 Glow Sunscreen Face Lotion

Many reviews talk about how this sunblock feels on their face and the texture. But I don’t see a lot of reviews about the quality. It is true that it goes on so smoothly and blends in so quickly, leaving zero residue. It should also be noted that it does not run in your eyes and burn when you are sweaty. I’ve used this sunblock in several tropical places now, and applied it on my most sensitive areas of my face AND body (that normally burn) and it has worked amazingly! It kept me from getting burned day after day and it’s only a 30. Add to that the nice color, and it really is a great sunblock. It’s rather pricey, but I do think it truly works!

The older I get (46), the more important skin care becomes to me. This last year I have noticed my skin looks dull with lots of fine lines. I changed out my cleanser and moisturizing serum but still needed more. I decided to try a tinted sunscreen by Sun Bum as my moisturizer and it is PERFECT. It is a thinner formula, so easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It is unscented and has not caused any break outs. The coverage is great, and leaves me feeling glowy and fresh and it is very affordable. Its like a fountain of youth while keeping you youthful by blocking harmful rays!

I love this sunscreen for my face and neck. I’m super pale and the tint/glow makes my skin look more lively. Only downside is it does irritate my eyes so I avoid putting it around my eye area.

Obsessed with this everyday sunscreen. I love the glow and shimmer it gives my face. I often don’t wear anything over it. It’s not greasy and provides sun protection. The perfect product.

At first I was super skeptical about using this sunscreen as it said it’s “glowy” and that it would burn my eyes but I’ve come up with some tricks to combat that. I put mineral sunscreen around my eyes and then I use this on the rest of my face and my skin looks so amazing! Also this sunscreen never, ever pills, stings or breaks me out. I also love that it is tinted to it offers additional benefits for those with skin of color such as myself. My new favorite and it so affordable!!

I've been wanting to try a glowy sunscreen in place of foundation for the summer and tried this out since I trust and love Sun Bum products. I love how fluid it is and how easily it sinks into the skin. It is not heavy and leaves a subtle sheen and a golden tint. Personally, I found that the tint was a bit too dark for my face. I feel like this would suit people who are a medium skin tone or darker. I have to wear this with a lighter concealer in order for it to match my skin tone and I would consider myself in between light and medium (I am definitely not pale, so if you're very fair this would probably look like self tanner). But it does look quite nice under makeup and makes my skin look very smooth after powder. My face also feels soft to the touch and not sticky. If you apply the correct amount (1/4 teaspoon for your whole face and neck) it does look a bit too much and bunches up, especially if you apply products on top. I would recommend you use this with another chemical sunscreen underneath and to apply the Glow 30 as just a glowy booster. Especially since it contains avobenzone which is a meh UV filter that degrades very quickly, I feel like this shouldn't be the only sunscreen you rely on for protection, but would be good for the look. SPF 30 is not quite enough in my opinion. Overall, I enjoy this but I think it's not for everyone. If you have a lot of texture and enlarged pores, this will exaggerate them. It exaggerates my peach fuzz too because of the sheen and the pores on my upper lip which I've never noticed before with any other product. I also wish it had more skincare ingredients, since its competitor products contain more antioxidants, UV stabilizers, and etc etc. Even so, I will still use this up, but I will probably not repurchase.

I've been using this product for a couple of years now and it is my absolute favorite! It not only provides great protection from the sun, but makes leaves my skin with a glow that looks like I just came back from the beach. As someone with rather fair skin, when the product came out of the bottle I thought it would be way too dark to look natural, but it blends so nicely. It's a little runny out of the bottle, but absorbs quickly into the skin. I usually follow up through the day with the Sun Bum facial mist sunscreen.
