The locking mechanism is great but a plastic part attached to the lock broke
I bought this on 11th Jan, 2019. A couple of days ago, it broke and I'm really disappointed. The breaking point was the thin plastic bit on the locking mechanism part over which the strap folds and gets stitched near the end. This is a new design by Planet Waves. I have an older Planet Waves locking strap which features a similar locking mechanism design but not the exact one. That one has lasted me since 2012 and hasn't broken yet.

PLanet Waves Planet Lock Guitar Strap - Tribal
Very well made and though not that wide a strap feels very comfortable even on my heavy Gibson Les Paul. First time I have used these locking straps they are fantastic and not much more expensive than the ordinary type straps that on a heavy guitar always seem to stretch at the button holes after being used a while with some becoming detached from the guitar causing it to plummet to the floor. I have ordered another one of these to use on one of my other guitars and providing I have no problems with them they will be on all my guitars in the near future. LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL!

Great strap
I was looking for a secure and comfortable strap for my brand new Jem 70V SFG - one that I'd feel confident that I could swing the guitar (as is my wont) without danger of its coming free and bouncing along the floor - as has happened with conventional straps in the past. The locking straps that I have for my other guitars are no longer made, so I was looking for a new manufacturer and this Planet Waves strap seemed to tick all the boxes. I was a little concerned because the Jem strap knobs were bigger than those on most of my guitars. However, I had no problem fitting the strap locking system. I like the locking system used and feel 100% confident that if gravity does have its wicked way with the Jem, it won't be the strap's fault. It is as comfortable as any strap I've used - and a darn sight more comfortable than most. It has a lot of adjustment room and I feel that only an inordinately tall player doing his Jimmy Page 'hanging down by his feet' poses would consider that it wasn't long enough. I'm very happy with my purchase, so much so that I have ordered another for the guitar bought for my nephew's birthday.

Brilliant
Aside from the rocking 2-tone appearance of the strap, it is a very high quality strap, great locks on the ends to stop it coming off, I would not hesitate in recommending this strap, and if needed I would buy another one of these.

Très bonne sangle
Sangle très agréable. J'aime particulièrement le système de verrouillage intégré à la sangle et qui fonctionne même sur une guitare qui aurait des StrapLocks style Schaller d'installés. Si votre guitare est un peu lourde, elle n'est peut être pas assez large, mais autrement elle est très confortable et facile à régler. Et la couleur va parfaitement avec ma Majesty
