Does it have an effect on the increase in water pressure? If it used for a long time?

We soak the steel plate in vinegar to remove the calcium build up, then it works fine for a few weeks. We had to do the same with our old shower head. This one really increased the water pressure

Is it good water pressure?

How long have other users been using this? I purchased similar ones and they only lasted about a few months, then the rim of the shower head cracked.

I've been using it for about 2 years now. I haven't checked the water bill but it works like any restrictor valve, the difference is it does shoot out less water but at higher pressure. You can tell once you get the unit. I like the feel of the higher pressure stream, you can tell the difference with the rain stream. However this head does need to be taken apart and clean the flat metal piece periodically otherwise the flow starts to get blocked in some areas of the head. I also noticed sometimes that can be corrected not due to obstructions but simply taking apart and reassembly of the head itself would correct the issue. I'm not sure what causes it mechanically.

I've had mine for about a year now and only in the last month did it finally need to be cleaned due to calcium build up. Still works great though

Good pressure, 3 settings

I would have given this 5 stars if it had more settings than the 3. They all feel very similar so it’s basically like having 1 setting.

Filtering beads lasted almost 3 weeks until water was hard again

It’s okay, if you don’t mind paying for a flimsy plastic shower handle with beads that don’t even filter a month. I had to buy replacement beads, and those only lasted a couple weeks. I would expect at least a couple months, but I didn’t even get a month of filtering. Also, I had to buy a separate holder for the shower head to be held by as this doesn’t come with one. There is another listing that does for a few bucks more which I didn’t see at the time.

Great shower head

Great for more water pressure, hair and skin doesn't smell like chlorine after bathing so the filtration works. After about 8 months, you'll need to change the gaskets if you like really hot water but the product is affordable enough to repurchase... my personal opinion.
