Breyer at its best
Wow! This is one of the best if not straight up the best Breyer model I've ever seen, & I've been collecting them since 1st grade. The sculpt is very realistic; very accurate, from the bone structure to the musculature, down to the ripples in the skin. It looks like a 3D version of a photograph taken mid-stride. Waves of lifelike motion have even been captured in the flowing shape of the tail. The face & eyes are very expressive & painted with attention to detail. Though it doesn't show in the Amazon photo, the paint used on the horse's body carries the metallic sheen for which the Akhal-Teke breed is known. This model would be a terrific gift for any horse enthusiast: child, teen, or adult. Or buy it for your own collection. You won't be disappointed!

Very realistic and just beautiful
I collected Breyers many years ago as a child and have just come back into the hobby recently. The realistic quality of these models is amazing. Shipping was very fast, but I recommend packing the shipping boxes a bit tighter to prevent damage in case someone wants to keep the Breyer box. The horse had a small imperfection on its side when it was removed from the box, but I’ve heard this is common.

Part of the Box Rub Lineup, but Gorgeous Model!
Absolutely gorgeous model. He is SO much longer than I thought he'd be (around 15 inches long!!!) and he is so beautiful! It is just unfortunate that he came with some box rubs that other newer models in recent years have been experiencing. I hope Breyer does something about this, because it's becoming frustrating buying flawed models like this. I never experienced this a decade+ ago.

Beautiful Breyer
This particular Breyer Horse, Adamek an Akhal-Teke is beautiful and the price was better than I could find anywhere. I will watch for the Breyer Horses from now on to compare prices and maybe get a bargain to boot!

Great Breyer
Only reason for the 4 stars is because the package arrived damaged and the horse inside had a small scratch on it. Not the end of the world but my daughter was a little bummed. Otherwise it is a great model at a decent price
