Huge! Excellent material quality
Giant Chess board!, great quality!, but way too big for me. I should have read better. Squares are larger than 2 inches I believe. Very nice though. Really flat if you have a flat surface. Probably not great for in the grass but it may work.

Good chess board, great work mat.
The black and white squares make it great for cleaning dust off of watch crystals. You see the light dust on the black and the black dust on the white. It is also a functional chess board, just like all the after school chess clubs used.

I have been playing chess for a long time and I travel a bit. This was just what I needed. Stores easily... provides an excellent surface for tournament play as well as a "friendly" game with just about anyone. I have had several of these "boards"... I can't say how well this one will hold up over time, but if it is like the others I have owned, you'll get years of chess playing fun out of this board. Eventually they need to be replaced, but at this price, not a big deal.

Just what I wanted. The vinyl that I received is nice quality. I will be looking for a cardboard spool to keep it in since it rolls up. It came in a big tall rectangle packing box from Amazon.

Holds up to a fair amount of abuse
I leave this mat rolled up in the back of my car for spontaneous chess games. It gets folded and beat up pretty bad and always comes back to flat after a couple minutes. Overall a great option for a cheap, mobile board/mat.

High quality vinyl chess mat. Best used with the squares outward during storage to assure that it lives flat. Useful 2.5 inch squares good for 3.5 inch high king chess sets.
