Barbie Fashionistas Ryan Doll with Grey Jeans and Shirt

I make doll clothes and post sewing tutorials online, so I bought this Ryan doll for that purpose. His face is very attractive and his hair looks pretty good. But the hair is very stiff, like it has some kind of adhesive in it. I'm a little concerned that the hair looks darker in reality than what you see in this picture, which is largely why I only gave it one star. Also, for someone like me, I'm always looking for the most flexible dolls for posing in my tutorial photographs. His legs aren't flexible at all. In other words, you cannot correctly seat him on a doll horse. If you, like me, need highly poseable dolls, I recommend the Texas A & E Ken. As I write this review, however, there aren't very many of those Kens left on Amazon. So if you read this review a year or so after it has been written, you might have to seek out a Texas A&E Ken on E-bay instead of here. That Ken is the most flexible one I own.

This is actually the first male doll I have ever bought and must say.. Ryan doll looks very handsome, has a fierce face, great hair style (which is rare coz most Ken/Ryan dolls look kinda ridiculous with real hair)and the outfit is simply amazing, esp the metallic jeans. My only tiny disappointment was to find out that male fashionista dolls don't have bendable knees, but then I got over it coz lack of knee joints makes them stand infallibly plus I guess it adds to their "masculinity" (haha)Very happy with it.. Will also be buying the Ken doll.

I was not pleased with this Ryan. He was quite expensive and no way has 9 pts. bending. He doesn't even bend in the knees which is why I was willing to pay so much in the first place He's good looking and a good quality but he doesn't like the 9 pts Barbie, so the look really funny sitting together !

I am very pleased with this Ken. There is a great new look to the face, rooted hair and top quality clothing / outfit and shoes.I have several 50 + year old Ken's and a variety of them that have been made over the years. This new line is very nice and a great addition to my collection.Bill S.

This doll has a weird face, and the pants are really bright, but my son likes it. He wanted a boy doll to play with his sister and her barbies. My husband thinks the doll is really too feminine, but he gets the job done.

My sisters and I loved this ken because he had dark hair. (we have sssoooo many blonde haired kens) He has lasted well, his arms still bend, and he is definitely Mattel quality. The price is right too!

The doll is nice, but the face it too womanish especially for 5 year old girl, who still (luckily for her) does not know who Justin Bieber is :)

Der Ken ist ganz gut gelungen. Die Haare sind als normale Frisur gestaltet und nicht wie zum Teil bei anderen Modellen als 'Pelzkappe'. Die Kleidung ist auch nett gestaltet mit ausnahme der Tatsache, das die Hose nur vorne bedruckt ist. Diese Unsitte des Halfprints finde ich grundsätzlich furchtbar; reelle Kleidung ist doch auch nicht nur vorne bedruckt. Das die Beine im Gegensatz zu früheren Modellen kein Kniegelenk mehr haben, hat mich davon abgehalten 5 Sterne zu vergeben.

Endlich mal ein Ken, der wenigstens etwas wie ein Kerl ausschaut. Ist ja gar nicht so einfach einen zu finden, denn meistens sehen die Kens wie Barbie nach einer Schönheits-OP aus.Wo gibt es einen Ken mit Bart und Bauch???Schade: er hat keine Kniegelenke. Somit kann er nicht mit dem Barbie-Pferd reiten. Aber ob er das wirklich will? Einen Schönheitsfehler hat er auch: der Kopf hat einen anderen Hautton als der Körper.

meine tochter hat sich ryan zum geburtstag gewünscht und ist auch fast täglich im einsatz :) die puppe ist leicht an und auszuziehen und auch das outfit ist ganz nett. die hose ist nur vorne silber bedruckt!

joli poupée Ryan mais il ne ressemble pas autant à son personnage que les autres poupées.mais ça change du ken blond, donc pratique pour les jeux.attention, les jambes sont rigides.

Et oui, il n'y a pas que Barbie dans la vie et en prime j'ai trouve un Ken, enfin Ryan, brun ! Mes petites filles étaient épatées. J'adore leur faire des surprises ... leurs parents sont aussi un peu surpris et en fait c'est assez rigolo.
