Hefty ECOSAVE Heavy Duty Assorted Cutlery, White, 24 Count

Got this due to the pricing on amazon versus elsewhere. It was a great deal for a pack of 8. Bought this for everyday use but we may end up using it for a party. Great quality and we love that its biodegradable. Would buy again!!

This is the strongest disposal cutlery I’ve ever used. I can even use it to cut steak. I wish I could buy additional forks separately.

This stuff is thick!! Much sturdier than other utensils and is worth the extra money if you are big boy like me

I can't express how well these hold up better than other brands when I go to cut a freshly cooked chicken platter at work for lunch. They are still susceptible to warping but not as bad as other more known plastic silverware brands.

Fork will snap if you hold a piece of food with it and try to cut the food.Spoon will snap wh you try to mix granola into your yogurt.Knife is OK.

i had cutlery like on the same track as this and they not good. I was very surprised at how strong these are.they had a nice hand feel and were surprisingly thick. I did re-wash them twice and use them and they were fine. I normally don't wash the disposables but i decided to do it to do this review. if they help the environment by breaking down and not staying like plastic for years and years, it's a plus in my book. i try to be eco friendly but it's really not that easy but products like this make it a bit easier. Friday night we had linguini and shrimp scampi and i made everyone use these forks and not one person had a problem. the tines were sharp enough to piece the food without breaking and no problem twirling the linguini either. they are the same size as my stainless steel cutlery, which i love. Most of the disposables are smaller and feel lightweight and fragile. I love Hefty products so i was not surprised that Hefty did it right. I did order 2 more sets of these. I pack a lunch and breakfast every day for work and i use plastic utensils so now i use these. Great product. if you are using plastic utensils and you find them flimsy, try these. They are almost like using regular cutlery.

Most eating utensils, whether compostable or not, are pretty flimsy, especially forks. These utensils, however, surprised me in how strong they are. I am pretty frugal with everything, so I want to be able to use my utensils a couple of times rather than just once. These utensils can be used and rewashed several times.My husband takes his lunch every day for work, and I don't want to send my stainless steel matching set with him, but he hates it when the cutlery breaks, rendering them useless. These spoons and forks last quite a long time, and I am very pleased with them. Afterwards, they should compost. I admit, I really don't know much about that, so I will take their word for it. I have used plenty of other Hefty products, and they are always a higher quality than other brands.

I use this all the time for my 4 and 8 yr olds school lunches. They have had no issues with breakage and like it just fine. I like that they are sturdy and eco friendly. It's a good large set that should last us through the school year.
