Best Tasting Protein Bar I've Found - Actually Tastes Like Apple Pie Not Cardboard
I've tried probably 20 different protein bar brands over the years and most of them taste like sweetened chalk or have this weird artificial aftertaste. I keep buying them because I need quick protein when I'm at the gym or between meetings, but I was never excited about eating them. These Quest Apple Pie bars are the first ones where I actually look forward to eating them instead of just tolerating them. The flavor is legit. It actually tastes like apple pie - you get the cinnamon, the apple chunks, that bakery taste. Not a chemical approximation of apple pie, but something that tastes like real food. The texture is chewy without being dense or hard to eat. Some protein bars are so dense they're exhausting to chew, but these have a good consistency. I keep a box of these in my desk drawer at work for afternoon snacks. Around 3pm when I'm starting to crash and would normally hit the vending machine for candy or chips, I grab one of these instead. The 20g of protein keeps me full until dinner and I don't get that sugar crash you get from regular snacks. My energy stays consistent instead of spiking and crashing. I also keep a few in my gym bag permanently. After a workout I need protein and these are way more convenient than mixing a shake. Just unwrap and eat while I'm driving home. The macros are great for post-workout - 20g protein, only 4g net carbs, 2g sugar. Perfect for keeping my diet on track while still getting the protein I need. The apple chunks in these are real and noticeable. You can actually see pieces of apple and taste them. Not just apple flavoring mixed into protein paste, but actual fruit. Makes them feel more like real food and less like a processed protein supplement. I've tried other Quest bar flavors and they're all good, but Apple Pie is my favorite. I've got Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Cookies & Cream at home too, but I go through Apple Pie the fastest. The cinnamon spice flavor is perfect for fall but honestly I eat them year-round. These work great for travel too. I always pack a few in my carry-on when I fly. Way better than airport food and they don't need refrigeration. Also good for road trips when you don't want to stop for fast food but need something substantial to eat. The size is perfect. Not so small that you're still hungry after eating it, but not so huge that it's a meal replacement. It's a proper snack that tides you over for a few hours. I usually eat one around 3-4pm and I'm good until dinner at 7. My girlfriend was skeptical about protein bars but I convinced her to try one of these. She was surprised at how good it tasted and now she keeps some in her purse for when she's running errands and gets hungry. She's not into fitness or protein tracking, she just likes them because they taste good and keep her from getting hangry. They're keto-friendly which is nice even though I'm not strictly keto. The low net carbs mean I don't have to worry about them messing with my macros or causing blood sugar spikes. I track my food and these fit perfectly into my daily targets without requiring any adjustments. The wrapper is easy to open even with one hand which sounds minor but it's convenient when you're driving or holding something. Some protein bars have packaging that requires two hands and concentration to open. These just tear open easily. I've recommended these to like 5 people at my gym. Everyone who's tried them has said the same thing - they're shocked that a protein bar actually tastes this good. My workout buddy switched from his usual brand to these after I gave him one to try. The price per bar is reasonable especially when you buy a box. Works out to like $2-3 per bar depending on sales, which is way cheaper than buying food out or getting vending machine snacks. Plus you're getting actual nutrition instead of empty calories. They don't melt or get weird in hot temperatures which is clutch for keeping them in my car or gym bag. I've left them in my car during summer and they're fine. Some protein bars turn into chocolate soup in the heat but these hold up. The ingredients list is relatively clean compared to other protein bars. I can actually pronounce most of the ingredients and there's no high fructose corn syrup or weird chemicals. Still processed obviously but better than a lot of alternatives. Quest bars have become a staple in my diet. I go through a box every couple weeks between work snacks, post-workout fuel, and travel food. The Apple Pie flavor is consistently good - never had a bad or stale bar, they're always fresh and tasty. If you're looking for protein bars that don't taste like punishment, try these. Apple Pie is the best flavor but honestly all the Quest flavors are solid. These have ruined other protein bars for me because now I know how good they can actually taste.

My Favorite Coffee Companion in a Bar
These Quest Cookies & Cream Protein Bars are my go-to snack when I want something quick, filling, and easy to pair with a cup of coffee. Each bar has 21g of protein and a good amount of fiber, so it actually keeps me full instead of feeling like a candy bar. The cookies and cream flavor is sweet and satisfying with little cookie bits throughout, which makes it feel like a treat... I also appreciate that they’re low in sugar, gluten-free, and keto-friendly, so they fit into my routine whether I’m on the go or just need a snack that won’t cause a sugar crash.

Satisfies those cravings!
I must lose weight or health will go bad. The new GLP1 shots are not feasible. I’m doing it naturally by eating healthful. Quest Protein Bars fit perfectly in my life; have contributed to my 20 pounds lost thus far. The texture, mildly sweet flavor and 21 grams protein makes Quest Bars the IDEAL afternoon snack. The Chocolate Cookie Dough is my favorite as it tastes authentic like cookie dough. I highly recommend you try Quest Products!

Honestly, pretty good!
They definitely aren’t perfect, and the texture can be weird for some, but I quite like these. They use a lot of sugar alcohols if that’s something you’re concerned about, but they say the ‘net carbs’ are low (whatever that means) I think the protein flavor isn’t as forward as other Quest stuff, and I like the blueberry pieces they put in it. One of the better protein bars

Love the variety; can't find in stores
I love the variety in this box. I've tried several other protein bars out there, but I prefer quest. They don't taste chalky, have a good protein and fiber count, and they keep the sugar/sugar alcohols low. They round out to a couple of dollars a bar, which is great. I like to keep them around when I'm having a high workout day or when I'm feeling lousy from my GLP-1 applications. Going six months now and lost nearly 40lbs. Definitely recommend!

Some good, some not so good.
This variety pack has Lemon Cake, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Blueberry Muffin bars, four of each. I ordered them to try because everything protein is chocolate. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. I just get so sick of chocolate. I was pleased to find fruit flavored bars. Be aware that these are protein bars, not candy bars, and they have that thick protein texture. If you're okay with that, then read on. The Lemon Cake were AWFUL. Just drink the lemon extract straight from the bottle. Bitter and so, so bad. I ate them because they were too expensive to throw away, but I certainly won't be ordering those again. Negative stars. Yuck. The Blueberry Muffin were good. Mild blueberry flavor, tasted more pie-like than muffin-like, but good for a protein bar. My only objection was that there are pocket of what I guess are the muffin crumble, which goes everywhere when you bite into it. I had to vacuum my car after eating just one bar because the little crumbles went everywhere. Now that I know that, I leave them in the wrapper, folding the wrapper back a little at a time as I eat it to catch the crumbles. Definite four stars, will be ordering again. White Chocolate Raspberry are absolutely delicious, if you like raspberry. I do. Good raspberry flavor, little chunks of white chocolate, and the thick protein bar texture works with it. But it's actual raspberries in there, which is good, but all the little seeds are in there too. I didn't use to mind the seeds, but now that I'm older and my dentition has shifted and been partially replaced, I end up picking seeds out of my teeth for half an hour after I eat one. It won't stop me, these are really good, but it's a bit annoying. Call if four and a half stars for this one. I will order this flavor again, but they won't be my every day go-to. Overall, not bad, I'm glad they had the variety pack available to try, rather than me having to buy 12 or 24 of each and getting stuck with a whole box of the horrible lemon ones. PS: Try the Apple Pie ones, they are the best of the fruit ones I've tasted. No weird seeds, maybe a few of the crumbles like the Blueberry ones, but I haven't gotten any of the pockets of them that made a big mess. I'm definitely getting more of those!

Great flavour!
Great tasting. Didn’t expect it to be so good. Protein bars don’t always taste very good but this one really does taste like apple pie with just a hint of crust. This would be great as a crispy bar! I like nearly ALL Quest products. Finally someone made a decent KETO chip. Really glad this company exists.

Great bar!!
By far the best protein bar out there! I used to be a Power Crunch girl many years ago and then Quest came out with cookies and cream. The regular bar they first had was my favorite until they came out with the dipped version. You used to be able to find it in stores like Walmart but now they are only selling their new version. Haven’t tried the new line yet. I just hope they don’t stop making the dipped version.
