I don’t have giant hands but I hate using joycons. This gives me a comfortable controller feel while I play in portable mode. Now I’m playing my switch again so thank you. No batteries but works for what I need

I never take it off my Switch. I consider the Split Pad Pro a must have for comfort in portable mode. Sadly it does not have HD rumble, NFC support for Amibo, and Nintendo has limits on control mapping for third party controllers because Nintendo thinks their Joy-Cons are perfect. You'll need a bigger case to hold the switch if you want to leave them attached.

Pretty good. Has to be mounted on the device or on the USB adapter. There is no wireless connection, or battery to allow such. Better than the joy cons. Just don't thing you can use the controller for two player if that is a feature you want. Back buttons will only remap to the front buttons on there respective halves.

My 8 yo son loves this more than the regular Nintendo switch grips.

These controllers are awesome. They lack a few things that the stock controllers have such as NFC and Rumble but they make up for it in grip and feel. The thumb-sticks are accurate and do not have any drift. They came packaged well and slid right onto the switch with no modification needed. They are built to last and have a great weight to them.

Typical nintendo garbage. This thing feels so cheap, literally if I hold it too hard I can snap the plastic. The buttons? Feel like cardboard and dont take commands well at all you will have to put some pressure into the cardboard buttons to make them work. The joy stick? Feels like a hollowed out cheap plastic tube is holding it up and the deadzone of it is atrocious which again another way Nintendo ruins their own product. Nintendo has this kink where they get off making the world's worst gaming consol remotes. From joy cons, to pro controllers to this expensive trash. Every single joy stick they make feels cheap, clunky, easily breakable. Nintendo has lost my respect long ago and now they removed the ONLY DECENT REMOTE THEY MADE which would be the GAMECUBE REMOTE. Nintendo is officially not worth the time or effort or money. Can't wait to see how much everyone hates the ridiculous switch coming out, seems like Nintendo only poops out cheap trash they charge you 10x the actual price they pay for. Pathetic.

Hori Split Pads are my absolute favorite switch controller, hands down. Being able to then utilize them in the same way as any other standard controller type, as opposed to only operating in handheld, is just perfect. I already owned a set of them, the gold and black Pikachu edition, but I love them so much that it was worth it to me to order this with an extra pair, just to have a spare set! I do wish it could work wirelessly and be recharged, but it's not that big of a deal to me in the grand scheme of things. Also, the cord length is quite ample, so no issues there. No lag/latency from inputs, no fuss, just plug and play perfection. These are worth the purchase!
