The mesh will be pretty hard when you install it (as will any kit with this style mesh) but after some play time this will wear in significantly.If you don't know how to string a head, you may find it more challenging than you expect -- and I MUST stress the importance of properly stringing your head. Even a minor mistake when stringing can make a huge impact on your throw, so be sure you string this properly. It also helps you know your personal preferences on stringing (whether you want more or less whip, etc.) so you have an idea of how you should be stringing your head.This mesh does come with stringing instruction, but I would suggest you do a google seach for popular stringing patterns for the specific head you own.In all though, good product

This mesh is one of the best types I have experimented with. Being a guy who likes no whip, but a very high pocket in his stick, this took me literally 10 minutes to string up. I threw with it, and it worked great. It isn't the best mesh I have ever used (Marc Mesh), but it is certainly STX's top of the line mesh, and is as the name implies, very durable to weather. I recommend this mesh to everyone who plays the sport and needs a new string job.

I prefer soft mesh for my sticks, but the kits are almost impossible to find now. It's pretty easy to restring this kit...youtube has some excellent tutorial videos if you need help with it. The sticker looks great on your car. Break-in period on the dura mesh is a little long for my taste, but it's way less than a traditional pocket.

This is a great stringing kit. It comes with everything you need to string a new stick and the mesh is great. I definitely recommend soaking the mesh in warm water for about 15 minute before trying to string it up because it starts out very stiff. This isn't a bad thing because the mesh is very durable and breaks in very well. Also, it comes with a couple STX ball stoppers, which are near impossible to get by themselves. All in all a great kit that I highly recommend.
