This is a huge bottle of all vegetable Senna liquid. If you are unfamiliar with senna, it's a natural ingredient that is the active ingredient in many of the most popular laxative.I don't believe that this can be considered a "natural" product, so take a look at the ingredients (pic #3). I can tell you that this stuff is very effective, and I personally don't believe that there is anything about this product that is unsafe for you, other than taking too much. In that case, you'll likely be find it more unhappy than unsafe as experiences go. I guess the danger is always dehydration, so please follow the directions precisely.Great product. Nobody wants to think about it until they need it. If you buy this one you'll have enough to share with friends, as well.

Inedible - do not purchase. We have tried many kinds of laxatives and many of them aren’t good tasting. I couldn’t even choke this one down. My mouth also taste acidic after trying it.

This is easy to take & also gentle on the stomach. For those days when you need a little extra help you can take a few teaspoons and get back to your regular self within hours. I'm familiar with laxatives, as well... sometimes they're needed, particularly as you age. I haven't tried this exactly, at least not that I'm familiar with, so this was a bit of a new thing.This works extremely well. It doesn't taste bad, which is a plus, and works relatively quickly. My only note here would be that you should ABSOLUTELY have a dose measurer so you don't accidentally take more than you need. You can get these at any given pharmacy and if you go to the desk, many will give them to you for free.Just make sure that you plan ahead so you have time for this to work through your system. Depending on your body chemistry stuff like this can take a relatively little time... or quite a bit of your day. If you've never used this before and can't consult a doctor, start with the smallest possible dose, if not half the dose for your height/weight and age. This is the type of thing where a little goes a long way. Also, laxatives can be a bit much to deal with because of how they work, so I have to restate that you should plan your day accordingly. Make sure that you have good access to a bathroom, plenty of water, and a nice place to relax during the process.

I’ve been using senna for years in my tea and didn’t even know it was available in a liquid form. I tested the senna syrup a couple times now and it works exactly as described. The flavor is fine and easy to swallow. I don’t really taste any chocolate flavoring however it is gentle on my stomach and works within about 6 hours for me. The shelf life is about 18 months on the product that I received which is fantastic. (see attached picture)
