TilleyLtm6 Airflo Broad Brim Recycled

My 7 yr old Tilley which looked like new blew off my head and took a ride down the Colorado River. This Tilley replacement hat is now made in China instead of Canada. Warranty is less. Had I lot my old had earlier Tilly would have replaced it. Not so on new hat.Old hat was sprayed with Sawyer bug spray for ticks and easy to wash in washer over and over again returning to its shape and not shrink. Have not washed this hat. Hope it performs as well as my former 7 yr old hat.Pricey but a great value for it durability.

We have used hats like this for many years. We, unfortunately, lost our hats a year or so ago and had to replace them. Of course we looked for the same manufacturer because, these hats are very durable, can be easily washed, crush and return to shape well, and provide great protection.

My 2013 LTM6 still works great. I recently washed it, and it really looks like new! I decided to get a second one as a backup and because I like the nearly white stone color (my older hat is khaki/olive. Frankly, I'm only wearing this new hat. It's lightweight, it fits perfectly, and it gives terrific sun protection compared to my usual choice of a baseball cap. My old LTM6 has a hidden cloth that folds down and protects your neck, a feature missing from the new hat. Good thing I've rarely if ever used that extra protection. If you're outside during the summer in a hot climate like mine (Austin TX), you need this Tilley hat.

...the workmanship isn't as good as my older Tilley hats. Same comfort, fit and design as before, just the care in construction isn't what it used to be (sewn seams aren't as straight, cuts not as clean, frayed neck strap, asymmetrical stitching). But they stand by their product with the same lifetime guarantee as before, so if it doesn't hold up they have my back.

Confortable in hot weather, water resistance, very good sun protection, high quality recycle material and fine looking make this hat an excellent product.

Fits right, very light, good protection

I have worn this hat for many years. Great for golf & hiking.However, your packing is bad. They twisted the brim of the hat so it was very difficult to remove the crosses. Please DON'T pack them that way. Always just flatten them on packing & shipping.

Love how my new Tilley hat fit and the blue colour. It’s light and well ventilated. Much better than I expected.
