Beautiful
I expected to get what I paid for...not this time! This sword is a thing of beauty. As I opened the shipping box, then opened the product box (btw, the foam barriers holding the sword in place were busted and destroyed), removed the cloth bag, and held it in my hands, I sat there in awe...momentarily.As soon as I unsheathed it, my kids wanted me to slice something...it was sharp out of the box, so I sliced the shipping box. Perfect clean cut, almost no force needed to make the cut. Now they want me to be a fruit ninja and slice fruit for parties!I have a few swords in the house, but this Katana is by far the best..well, after my kabar. It's solid, has a tightly wrapped handle, the Dragon Tsuba is beautiful and very appealing, and the blade is very sharp and durable. For Independence Day, we got a 10lb watermelon and guess what! This Katana cut it like a hot knife through butter.I plan to get one of each.

This is the one you're looking for...
Despite the ratings and reviews, I was still skeptical. The sword arrived today, about 10 minutes ago and I felt obligated to review this right away. For the price, you're not going to find better quality. I'd say that the majority of the positive reviews are dead on. Sturdy, no wiggle or rattling, etc. The blade is sharp, not "razor sharp". Not much else to add that hasn't already been mentioned. Musha has apparently taken advantage of the good reviews. The box labeling was pretty adamant about backing up the the quality/price ratio of Musha swords, so it's probably safe to say that you can expect a similar value across all Musha sword variations in this price range; in case you're looking for a different style. So, yeah, if this is as much as you're gonna spend, this is your best option. Hope this helps.

Probably the best beater Katana you can get for $60!
This is probably the most Katana you can get for around $60. It is a functional sword, although I haven't tested the extent of that yet. I have sliced clean through an unripe banana and a baby watermelon with little effort. It isn't the prettiest Katana I have seen, but I can appreciate that most of the production cost is focused on the blade. The sword seems pretty sturdy, there isn't any wiggle in the parts. The handle is wrapped pretty well and I didn't expect real ray-skin at this price. I didn't expect a real hamon either, as the blade isn't differentially tempered and isn't advertised as such. It does have some machining marks but nothing too obscene. The scabbarb seems cheaply made but still does the trick. Overall an awesome value! I did some research before I bought this and it checks out. I plan to buy a Musashi sword next, for about $100-$200, with a 1060 clay-tempered blade and a little more swag.

Decent Katana for the money
I got my Musha Katana today. After closely inspecting and handling the sword, I'm pretty satisfied with it. 1045 steel is the type used to make this weapon. 1045 isn't a supreme quality steel, but it's decent, especially for the price. This sword was well made, very solid, freaking sharp as heck, and feels great in my hands. The handle in my opinion is a bit tacky, but it feels good in my hands, and seems relatively sturdy. I'm not an expert on swords by any means, but I know good quality products when I see them. There are defiantly better Katana's out there, but you'll be spending a much larger sum of money. For the price, this is a sturdy, very sharp, well made Katana that will get the job done, whether it's whacking shrubs and flora, or lobbing the head off a zombie, Great sword! 4/5 stars

Lethal and absolutely worth the money.
Lethal and absolutely worth the money. After sharpening this, and with a good stance and swing, I was able to chop off the top of cardboard box it came in and a banana.I sharpened it with a file (just a little bit, at a soft angle) and an AccuSharp knife sharpener just fine. Then I bought clear, non-contaminated mineral oil (Equate brand, 16 fluid ounces) from Walmart for $2 in the medical area and wiped down the katana blade and do that every time I touch the blade.

Musha katana
So first out of the box it had minor scratches and the sword/saya dosen't closed all the way as seen in the pix. Cord wrap is kinda loose and ray skin is rubber/plastic. Other then that it a great sword for it price. Sharp, light and easy to use. Budget friendly sword

This is a great deal!
So, I had been watching this sword for a while. I was intrigued because it seemed so cheap, yet it had really good reviews. I finally gave in and got it. I will say that I am very happy with the purchase. Now that I have it, I see where the savings come from, and they are not deal breakers. The blade feels really good, heavy duty, sharp! It feels good in your hand. The guard is thin, the sheath is a plastic materials.I imagine that is why the price is so competitive. But none of these things affect the "feel" of the sword. It feels really good in your hand and feels like a very good quality blade. It looks really good on the sword rack and will definitely serve its purpose if you needed to take it down to cut something. I would definitely recommend this as a piece to add to your collection.

Musha sword from mystical blades
So the product came on time the sword is more than likely fake. It doesn't come in the box as the picture describes as well the quality show seems cheap as the 2 bamboo pegs look like there falling out. In the pictures it says musha on he guard you not see this anywhere on the sword. It doesn't come with any paper showing its authenticity.

This is a strong Blade.
Super impressed, The steel is thick and this baby will not bend or break, it would be hard even if your intention was to do so, honestly this is quality for 100$ and would recommend it to anyone, much heavier than I expected. Very happy with it.

Nice option.
It is good for a show piece, its handle isn't sturdy enough to hold it for heavy or regular usage.
