Gets the job done and have been long-lasting - very pleased!
While my old pen tip was not yet worn out, I ordered this set specifically because I was intrigued by the idea of the metal pen tip. I use an iPad Pro and an iPad Mini. Both of them have textured screen protectors on them to prevent scratches, and to help writing on the screen feel more natural. Because both of them have screen protectors, I had no apprehension about trying out the metal pen tip. Overall, I'm really pleased! The accuracy and quality of the pen tip seems comparable to my previous pen tip from Apple. More than that, I am excited that this metal pen tip may be the last one I ever need to purchase as it won't wear down like the plastic ones can. I also really appreciate the tapping sound it makes when I write on my screen, as it gives me even more of the tactile feel that I am used to with a regular pen and pad. If there ever comes a time that I need to order a replacement, I would be happy to buy these again.

The Black Apple Pencil Tip Adds Style to Substance
So far this tip for my Apple Pencil has been great! The one that came with my pencil was scratched and needed to be replaced. Here are my thoughts: • Seamless Fit: The generic black Apple Pencil tip effortlessly integrates with the pencil base, ensuring a stable connection. • Smooth Writing: Experience a silky-smooth writing performance, capturing your creative ideas with ease and precision. • Full Functionality: Despite being non-brand, this budget-friendly accessory retains all the key features, guaranteeing reliable functionality. • Contrast and Flair: The black tip not only contrasts beautifully with a white pencil but also adds a stylish touch to your creative toolkit. With the perfect blend of affordability, style, and performance with these black tips for the Apple Pencil this makes for a great addition to your digital creativity. Highly recommend!

Long lasting
I bought these tips almost 4 years ago. I'm still on my first replacement. I still have 3 left in the box. These are as responsive as the Apple branded tip replacements, but last 10x longer. The tip is starting to show wear and will need to be replaced soon, but as long as its lasted, there's no telling when that will be. I replaced the Apple Pencil nibs within 6 months, for comparison. Highly recommend. ETA: June 16, 2025 (pic from today), I finally replaced the first nib I installed in January 2021. That’s 4.5 years of use out of 1 nib. I still have 3 left somehow. Are they multiplying in the box or did I somehow get 5 nibs in my 4 nib box? I don’t remember. In my first review, I assumed there were 3 nibs left because I was using one. I didn’t actually look in the box until today when I had to replace the nib. I don’t know why this item has so many returns. Either they changed the quality from December 2020, or they have quality control issues. Idk. But I have nibs ostensibly for the next 14 years. My pencil will die or be replaced before I use them all. And I’m fine with that considering I paid $13 for my set of 5(?).

Not as durable as some other options but works perfectly on the Apple Pencil 2
I use my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil 2 exclusively for note-taking, and these fine tips make the writing experience much more enjoyable. This is my second set of fine point tips: the first set worked well but only came in a black plastic, which looked goofy on the all-white Apple Pencil. I picked these up in the hopes of getting a more uniform look, and I've been using them daily for a couple of months now. THE GOOD: - Functionally, these tips are awesome. I haven't had any issues with missed inputs, "phantom" inputs, or any other issues. The functionality is just as good as the native tips included with the Apple Pencil. - The color of the tips perfectly matches the Apple Pencil 2. Other than the fact that Apple doesn't offer metal point tips, you wouldn't know that these are third-party tips based on the look alone. - A fairly cheap plastic case is included, which makes keeping track of the extra tips fairly easy. I keep the extras in my bag since, as I discovered, a poorly-placed drop of the Pencil might break the tip (more on that below). The case definitely isn't durable, but it works well enough. The tips themselves are stored in small cutouts in a sheet of foam within the case. - Excellent value overall: 4 tips for ~$15 is a good buy. The previous tips I bought were much more expensive ($30/pair), and while the MEKO tips are much less durable, they're far cheaper to replace. THE BAD: - These tips are not at all durable, and I've accidentally broken a couple thanks to accidental drops of the Pencil. The metal tip seems to be relatively fragile and poorly secured to the rest of the tip: a drop directly on the tip will almost certainly bend the tip, making it unusable, or cause the tip to break off altogether. I didn't have this issue with the more expensive tips that I was using before. I'm willing to accept this trade-off thanks to the much lower price of the MEKO tips, but you'll want to make sure you don't accidentally drop the Pencil, which can be a bit challenging thanks to the attachment mechanism for the Apple Pencil 2. I haven't had any durability issues with regular use. Issues with durability not withstanding, I'm very happy with these tips. I use them daily and a lot: I probably write the equivalent of 5-6 sheets of college-ruled notebook paper daily, and I've only had to change the tips after breaking them following a drop. For $15, I'm perfectly happy with the purchase and will buy another set when I need some more replacements. If you use your Apple Pencil primarily for writing or relatively precise work, check these out! - they're a great upgrade to the standard tips. Paired with a "paperlike" screen protector, the writing experience is outstanding.

CLASS NOTES w. GOODNOTES 5 - Upgraded 0.72mm Fine
Please see the image I have attached. It, in itself, is a review. I wrote my responses to the pen tip along with a brand new Bersem Paper-Like screen protector. Although I personally still like the original iPencil Tips better (personal preference), I know that I will like these (with prolonged use). I have already written quite a bit with these tips, and they are not scratchy for being metal, it is very smooth. Too smooth to my taste. I prefer an experience that is most like writing on paper. But that is personal preference, and I will not hold that against the pen tips themselves. I think these will last a real long time. I can see why artists like this metal tip. It is SO RESPONSIVE. There is no lag what so ever. Sometimes, with an older OG tip, it has a hard time responding with the iPad. Since this tip is just metal, I don't foresee it having this type of issue. I will update my review should I find connectivity issues or any other issues. Take a look at the image, and let me know if you can tell the difference between me writing with the Meko Tip or the OG iPencil Tip. I can obviously see the difference, but that is me being OCD about my own writing. I use my iPad everyday for school and personal use. I no longer use paper or notebooks. Everything is neatly organized via GoodNotes 5 and MS OneNote. UPDATE: To create more drag across the screen, I took a very fine nail file and rubbed it gently on the tip of the tip. I like the experience much better now. UPDATE #2: I’ve been using these for almost a year now, and I haven’t gone back to the original iPencil tips. I have damaged 2 tips by dropping my iPencil by accident. I recently tried the original tip on my iPencil after I damaged my pen tip, and I didn’t like it as much compared to the Meko. Its probably because my screen protector is worn down. I will be purchasing more. Hopefully I won’t drop my iPencil anymore. Update 3: Definitely more than a year now, probably going on 2. I love the experience I have with this tip. I doesn’t wear down. If not for me dropping my iPencil accidentally, they would definitely last a longer time. When dropped, the metal part can bend. It still works, but it’s awkward writing with a bent tip. I’m here to purchase more tips even tho the 2 I have still that work fine. Out of those 2 I just dropped one, it’s still good but I don’t want to take the chance being without tips. It can scratch up your screen protector depending on how much pressure you apply. But come on, metal vs plastic, it’s common sense. But I have been using this combo for almost 2 years and only switched out my screen protector once, and that’s mostly because I use it everyday (oils from my hand, constant cleaning, writing with the pen everyday) so I consider it normal wear and tear. I also have the LogiTech crayon and it fits perfect on that. I have it as a backup in case my Apple Pencil is dead.

Amazing Product!
I love that you receive 6 pen tips for an affordable price! I originally bought this for the metal tips to test out, and I liked that it had the original tips as well in case I did not like the others. However, in the future I will be buying a pack of just the metal tips since I have found that it has made writing the easiest! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to buy new tips for their Apple Pen due to the amount, quality, performance and price!

Amazing tips for the Apple Pencil Pro
These Apple Pencil Pro Tips are top notch and screw right on the end of the Apple Pencil Pro no problem. I just purchased a new Apple Pencil Pro and got a vinyl skin to put on mine that looks like a pencil and wanted my tip to look like a pencil as well so I got the black tip and took my white tip off and got the black tip and screwed it right on and it works perfectly!

They work until they don’t
I don’t know if it’s something with the connection inside the pen to the tip, but these tips work great for a week or two and then one day just will stop working altogether. Won’t even pick up that you’re tapping the screen at all. I know it’s the tip and not the pen because as soon as I screw a new one in it’s good to go. If I screw the old non working one back on again, it still doesn’t work. Guess it’s a good thing they came in multi pack. Also; don’t use the ones with metal nibs unless you’ve got a screen protector as they’ll scratch. All in all a decent product but they don’t last long so expect to order more within a few months, or just go with another brand. Not sure if this is common with all brands as I did buy another pack but haven’t needed to test them out yet for longevity.

Not the best at all
I wish I could give a review of the product but I can’t. I replaced the tip on my I pen and then it fell off the table, which I’ve dropped the pen many times before, the nib snapped off leaving half inside so now I gotta figure out how to get it out.

The best writing experience
You'll love these compared to regular tips. I'm using glass screen protector on iPad, still good. It will be butter smooth on paper type screen protectors
