I wanted to listen to foreign language learning with wired headphones instead of ear buds, but lightening port was the issue.In comes this adapter to the rescue!! Works great and now I can do it by my phone APP instead of a laptop whenever I want to. Price was fine AND I have a back up connector as well. Highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying I do not commonly write reviews. I decided to make an exception, because I hope my input can help buyers make wise decisions, and so that the seller can improve the quality of their items. For those who were able to make it work, good for you. But sadly, I was not so fortunate.I had purchased 3 for my media production class. My students needed adapters, to connect to their phones to MOVO microphone receivers. As someone previously mentioned, the texture of these adapters is thicker than you expect from an APPLE adapter. They're also longer. When my students and I tried to connect them to the phones, it did not read or recognize it. Nevertheless, we tried to see if it would record if connected to both the receiver and phone, but unfortunately it didn't. A student thankfully did have an authentic adapter from APPLE and that one did work. It was immediately obvious the texture and look of his was different from these.Although I acknowledge that there are several who have written positive reviews, the amount of low reviews is something to consider. So please, to anyone reading these comments, think carefully before you buy this one. The odds of it working for you are slimer than they ought to be.

A friend of mine creates music on his computer and then sends it to me in a text on my iPhone. So I was looking for a way to listen to his music in stereo with my AKG amazing headphones! This adaptor works perfectly. I just plugged my AKG headphones into the adaptor and put the adaptor into my iPhone. It works! These worked great with ear buds. Bought these for travel. Works perfect, charged perfectly, great value

The items were shipped in a timely fashion. The plugs were good and it’s nice to two (02) in case I lose one. They were a good fit and easy to attached to my earphones. Just don’t pull the plugs as they are still fragile.

These are awesome. I miss it when Apple provided the cord, and headphones for the phone.Works perfectly. My only flaw with it- is you still cannot charge your phone & listen to music at the same time (with headphones). Unless you purchased a more in depth adapter for it.

I was worried that it wouldn’t fit the older iPhone, but it did. My husband was happy to have this, especially since it came with a back up in case the first one gets missing. He doesn’t like wireless ear buds and prefers to go old school with corded ones. I bought him an expensive pair and needed the iPhone adapter to use with his phone.

Purchased this about 3 months ago. It seems to be holding up okay and the audio is fine. It works well to listen to and record audio, but ***it does not work for phone calls.***As in, using a headset plugged into this adapter I can listen to music or make a voice memo, but as soon as I'm trying to make a call, the audio runs through the phone speakers as though the headset isn't plugged in (even when listening to voicemail) and the person on the other line can't hear my voice at all.After a little sleuthing, it seems like this is a common issue, so it's on me not to have researched ahead of time. Disappointing, though! I wish the product description would've been more transparent. I'll make limited use of this, but would not have purchased it if I'd known about this issue before buying.
