I got this as a gag gift but wow, this thing is way more than I expected. It is solid and sharp and fun. I can't believe how cool this thing is. The detail is amazing and it's heavy metal. All in all it's way more than I expected for the price. Not sure what I gonna do with a battle axe, but I've got one that gonna be around for a while.

OK so I will start by saying why the heck are there red and green dots painted on both sides of the skulls head? Lol I saw other reviews that said this as well. I was hoping mine wouldn’t come with the spots but it did, thankfully I have a ton of paints so I was able to paint over them with a matte black Which totally fixed the problem thank goodness! I love the battle ax! It’s heavy made well and is pretty sharp. I already cut my hand with it lol I’m including a picture how it arrived with the spots on it and then what it looks like after I fixed it. I’d say get it you’ll love it. You can always run to the store and grab some paint to fix yours if yours also comes with the goofy Christmas spots on it. LOL

My son recently got into collecting knives and swords and so we ordered this as a surprise reward for good grades. My other son is jealous. I am jealous. The neighbor is jealous. This thing is absolutely awesome, and despite its cheap price, is easily my favorite of all of his pieces. It is much heavier than expected and is awesome quality. The only slight issue I can see with it is the chain wrap on the handle moves around and would not stand up to much handling which is an issues as everyone wants to hold it, but as a display piece it is beautiful!

This is one of my most popular props doing these warrior shoots. Did I have to pick up some paint at my local hobby lobby to touch up the dots on the skull. Other than that this is a great axe!

Gift for husband... now he thinks he is a viking... he grew his beard out, and started building a longship.... he carries it around everywhere and shouts "for Valhalla" ..He keeps telling me that he is going to pillage my village, and yells "skull" before drinking his coffee in the morning... I blame this axe
