Live Aquarium Plant Seeds for FreshwaterHow to seedling?First of all, we suggest you make a detailed plan of the aquarium you want, like where to place rocks, low grass, high grass, cliff, woods.Method:1.Put the wet mud, sand or other fundamental element and rocks, wood and other decor as you planed. Scatter the seeds on the right places. Mind the density. Dont cover the fundamental elements with water. Or else they will float.2.Keep the air temperature inside the tank 25-28℃, if necessary, with an halogen light or other heater for them to sprout. Spray some water 1-2 times each day to keep them moist.3.After 3-5 days, Some start to sprout and green sprout can be seen. But certain light or sunshine is still necessary because leaves need power to grow.4.On day 10-12, add water slowly to fill the tank and then run the circulation pump. Keep the water temp around 25℃5.On day 15-20, most mini-leaf grass will come to 0.6'' high, and finish growing. Or Long Hairgrass reaches about 5''. After 1-2 days, put the fish inside

Slower than expected but worth it
I’m not a lengthy review writer but I feel like this needs it lol. So,First, dont even look at the 1 star reviews that say the seeds floated and it came with no directions. The directions are in the description and obviously dry seeds will float so they’re not the brightest for that. Also, the directions say to spray with water and keep covered with wrap until they sprout, but i didn’t do that so this is just sharing what i did. It’s summer in CA so it’s dry here, i did the spray and plastic wrap for a couple of days until they were sticky enough to stay put. Then, i added just enough water so that it was at the level of the sand to keep it hydrated. I waited until they sprouted(i’ll list the dates below of the pictures to show), then i added about two inches of water above the seed line. You can see a little bit in the photos where the water line is. After that I planted my grass/taller plants i had been keeping somewhere else, and once majority was sprouted I added more variety and filled it up! I just put my betta in today and he seems to like the upgrade, and I added a few ghost shrimp yesterday but we’ll see how those do.The first photo is from July 24th, the second photo (the beginning sprouts) is from August 2nd, the third is from August 6, and the last photo is from today(August 14th). I only used about half of the packet. Overall, I recommend this and even though it did take longer than expected, it was worth it imo. :)

Junk seeds they die
They are junk. I followed instructions, but should be followed reviews instead. They looked good for the week they lasted them they died. These ones I grew in a potter are still alive. These are not for aquariums. Maybe terrariums instead. Don't put in your aquarium if you don't want a mess to vacuum out later.

Took about 4-5 days
Took about 4-5 days but finally saw little green sprouts. Used fluval plant and shrimp stratum. Rinsed the substrate once. There should be no visible pool of water ( just moist substrate). Sprinkled the seeds on top and sprayed it several times to moisten seeds. Covered the top with plastic wrap and poked 10 small holes using toothpick. Gave it 8-10 hours of light everyday. Sprayed it once everyday to keep seeds moist. Finally after 4-5 days saw small sprouts. Hope this helps anyone else trying! It’s day 6 now and there’s definitely a lot more sprouts.UPDATE 3/13/24)The last picture is from today. The grass leaf has grown a lot, which I’m happy about. I actually expected it to melt and die but it’s been going strong until now. The taller plants are other aquatic plants that I put in here so they didn’t grow from the seeds. I’ll update in a month or so.

Worth it!
I live in the Midwest where it isn’t very humid at all. I tried misting for 2 weeks to no avail. I ended up burying what seeds I could and then filled the tank on the third week with water. After that, they took off! I will say though, with my method a lot of seeds floated and I had to fish them out with a net to clean up everything. It seems to be going great so far. I would say it’s worth the price!

Quick growing quality seeds
I got my seeds April 16th 2024 and now April 19th the long grass and dwarf grass suddenly starting popping up this morning (which is fantastic because I typically have a black thumb). The seeds are growing in the mixture of about 70% sand, 15% Vermiculite and 15% planting soil.I'm making a little aquarium setup which will be have rotifers and triops living in one side (Meal worms/beetles on the other) and wanted some nice naturally growing food for the rotifers who will be living food for the triops. So far it's looking like a fantastic start even though it'll be a few months before everything is fully ready. I'll be posting pics later if everything goes as planned.

not growing?
I put the seeds in the tank on 10/21 and it is 10/27 and nothing has happened.I’m using fluval stratum for substrate. I have misted them every day, with plastic wrap around the top with vent holes. the light has stayed on 24/7 and the temp has been at a minimum of 70 fahrenheit.the only thing i can think of is that the temperature isn’t high enough? OR the light isn’t full spectrum (it is the light designed for the tank, was marketed as a plantable aquarium)? Can i try slowly filling up the tank with water since the seeds have been in long enough to stick to the substrate and put the heater in and hopefully the temperature is to blame? i didn’t see that as an option for these specific seeds but did see it was an option for others. Please help!! :(

Small leaf aquatic grass seed
I got this product for my aquarium. It would be very helpful if it came with instructions on how to plant the seeds. Some of the plants are very big and grew with in days, while others are just starting to grow after 2 weeks. For the amount of seeds I planted the yeld is not that great.
