50 less calories, 10% more protein, same price (for my purchases), and the same great flavor (Vanilla Shake) as Syntha 6. BSN is king of protein flavor in my opinion. However, you paid the price in calories with Syntha 6 running about 200 calories and 22 grams of protein. Edge will do 150 calories and 24 grams of protein. I paid the same amount for both products last month and I believe the servings were the same for both containers. Both were a variant of Vanilla and both tasted almost the same. The Syntha 6 was a touch sweeter and stronger to me but for 50 calories less, it's fine. I have been a Dymatize user for a long time but sometimes I just want to treat myself to great taste and still keep the calories under control.

This vanilla milkshake flavor is sooooo good!For my morning protein shake I added oats and I always use almond milk and ice, and after I blend it I topped it off with ground cinnamon and it was so good.My afternoon shake I added ice, milk, and blueberries and it was delicious!Just wanted to add that unnecessary part in just in case someone wanted to try them😊Ok, so I feel like this vanilla powder is very fine, because I’ve tried the peanut butter and birthday cake and the consistency is not as fine as this one, which isn’t a big deal but I thought I’d add that in as well.The smell and flavor is spot on, so if you want a really great tasting protein powder, then this is the one for you.Especially if you are afraid to try the other flavors! I feel like with this one you can drink it by itself or add different fruits/veggies in with it.I think the birthday cake is really good and the peanut butter is just okay.

I've been a BSN Syntha-6 consumer for over a decade. Originally buying their Vanilla Syntha-6 formula, but I made the switch to Syntha-6 Edge once it came out. Tastes as incredible as the original, but now with significantly fewer calories and carbs. As I stated in my title, this is the best-tasting protein on the market, plus it doesn't skimp on the dose, a two-scoop serving is like 40g of mixed medium protein. It may be a little pricer than some of the low brow competitor products but it's absoutely worth any price premium.

I've used Syntha-6 and Syntha-6 Isolate for a few years now and no other protein comes close in taste (and I've tried dozens). When I saw this new "Edge", figured it was worth a shot and honestly it's the best of both worlds from the other two. The taste is *almost* as good as regular Syntha-6 (which is the best because of the amount of fat in it...creamy heaven) but with a lower macro profile more similar to the Isolate. Being a girl, and a small one at that, I really have to count every calorie and this helps me squeeze in more protein without taking a huge hit on my other marcos. So far, I've tried Vanilla Milkshake and Graham Cracker and both are amazing. Will definitely be sticking to this protein.

Update: I did my smoothie with less protein powder and changed the milk with water. It still tastes great and it's more cold and less thick due to not adding as much protein powder.I personally like the taste of this protein powder. I used it for the first time today. I put a scoop and 1/2 into my smoothie with frozen fruit and milk. I was surprised with the texture it gave my smoothie turning it into a milkshake feel and making it thick. My shake didn't feel cold so next time I'll try it with ice cubes and water. Except for the temperature feel, I did enjoy my smoothie and the flavor the protein gave it. I also don't like that the package seems partially empty, maybe making the container shorter so it doesn't look like it was used and in turn using lest plastic might help. Other than that this protein tastes better than others I've tried. I like it just need to learn how to perfect my smoothie so it won't be room temperature.

I don’t like grainy smoothies and this is one of the smoothest mixes I have found. Even when just shaking in a blender bottle, it blends well and provides excellent flavor. They are great with almond milk and other ingredients in a blender, but I enjoy them just shaken with water too.

Very impressed. I read so many reviews before buying. Everyone seemed to like taste. I liked the diverse mix of protein and some of the other nutrition and macro related properties.I'm not a protein drink fan btw. It hurts my stomach and usually tastes so nasty and chalky or gritty... Anyway, this stuff truly does taste amazing, it's incredibly filling, and it didn't hurt my stomach at all!!!I tried it with milk (delicious) and I drink it with cashew milk (because it still tastes pretty good but only adds 25 calories per cup).Highly recommend!
