The best handle out there!!
I ordered 3 different handles from multiple companies including the wooden handle. This is the one to get for shooting weddings and music videos where the angle is changing on the fly. I wish they made it for the right side too.I'd say get it over any other handle. The build is really good and it's super easy to adjust so you can focus on filming. It also fits my bigger than normal hands.

Great handle!
I've been using the Smallrig wooden handle, which is very comfortable. But as soon as I found out about this one I wanted to get it. The fact that it can rotate and offer you a comfortable grip in any recording angle makes it perfect. It takes a little time to get used to it since it's very easy to press the lock and loosing it making the camera move while recording. But once you learned it, it's easy as pie.The handle itself is super comfortable to your hand and feels solid. Yet, I don't know why but I'm a little worried about how long will it last.Just beware, you can't switch sides as the other handles. You can put it on the right but it would be pointing back.So far I have use it just once. I'll update this review as I use it more.

Excellent Quality
I recently purchased the SmallRig Push-Button Rotating NATO Handle and I am extremely impressed! This handle is incredibly well-made and is perfect for camera mounts with a NATO rail. The handle feels solid in hand, and the push button allows you to quickly rotate it to achieve the desired angle. The rubberized grip ensures a secure hold while shooting, which allows for greater precision when changing angles. Overall, this handle gives me peace of mind knowing that my camera mount won't be slipping during use. Highly recommend this product!

Close to perfect
For reference I also own the Smallrig Wooden 2093 and also the HSS2425. The ability to get a comfortable and less restricted grip, especially when recording low or high is what really sells this. With the other non-rotating grips you are forced to keep that neutral grip and angle of your wrist. So this one makes it much easier. The movement once the button is depressed is very fluid. Not jerky at all.Now the cons, while the movement is fluid, its the actual action of pressing the button that requires more effort than I would like. It is not hard but I really do not like the location (right where your thumb is.) Not only would a pointer or middle finger release be better, but also you have to make sure that you do not have any tension, or movement in a front or back motion, when trying to release it. This will cause jerking and tension when trying to release and rotate the grip.I think muscle memory will make this grip easier to use over time. I need to know how much pressure I have to put to completely unlock it without any jerkyness. Overall it is very good. I still would like a different button placement to rotate the grip and also less jerky would be nice. Overall, when compared to the other grips this one is better. If you are looking to save a few bucks the other grips are still very solid and I think the wooden one has the best ergonomics. I have not been disappointed with any Smallrig grips so whichever style you think you'll enjoy the most have at it. A grip makes a difference so I do recommend at grip for anyone. While they are used more for videography than photography, I have also noticed the benefit of using it while making pictures.

Perfection
I never write reviews, but SmallRig has been killing it lately. This thing is awesome! I was a little suspiscious of how sturdy the handle would be, given that it rotates. It truly works amazingly. Rotation is super easy and smooth. But it's not at all flimsy. It locks in place positively and easily. We'll see how well it holds up to life on set. But I have full confidence in this gadget. Nice job!

Solidly built, feels great in the hand
This is a high quality product made out of aluminum and grippy rubber. The rotation function is excellent and allows you to quickly adjust your grip based on your recording position. The grip is good enough that you can hold your rig one handed from the side, for when you need to touch some buttons/dials on your camera which are not reachable with the right hand on the camera's grip. You need a nato rail on the side, but a lot of smallrig cages have those on the left side at least. I used to use a top handle, but after adding a monitor, the rig became too tall and top heavy, and I like a more compact rig with this handle on the left side, and the monitor in the hotshoe. I can still do low shots, because I can hold the camera with both arms extended down.

Held off too long
I should have bought this handle a long time ago. Paired with a Smallrig Cage on my FX30, the NATO rail is built into the cage and the handle slides right on without any hassle. My only quibble is the foldout screen on the FX30 runs right into my hand when open.

10 stars if I could!!!!
Not too often I get wowed by a product, but I gotta say wow!I hooked this up to my Black Mamba cage encasing my Canon R7. I liked it so much I went on a Smallrig spending spree and decided to try this grip. It attached in a couple of minutes, most of which was screwing the nato rail attachment on to the left side of the Mamba. Then this grip just slid on and locked. It totally feels like it was made from a mold of my hand. What I like about it too, is it has a latch which allows you to swivel it into different positions, all of which lock with a nice snap. The R7 isn’t a particularly heavy camera, but the model is now in the stratosphere of having no built in flash. Luckily, the sensor is so good even inside the house shooting family activities it exposes well with no flash needed. But there are times when a flash, or some other sort of lighting helps. I have a few lights that range from lightweight to heavier that should do better with a light stand. But I’m not a pro. Anyways, I can attached lights to the camera now, microphones if needed, a Smallrig handle etc. Rigged out, we have a heavy R7. This handle is a new world controlling that weight. I usually use my left hand to balance and support my R7 under the lens, unless I have something like a nifty fifty on it. But now, even with my 100-400 I can grab it from the handle and hold it upright. It feels great. It looks great. And repositioning the handle allows for great flexibility in shooting angles. Especially with video footage.Smallrig, to their credit didn’t just piece something together here, this feels well built. My only concern is the latch that loosens it to rotate is plastic. I hope it lasts. It seems like it will, but I would have liked that whole mechanism made from metal. The grip has a great texture and is non slippy. You have a cold shoe and screw mounts atop for more expansion.I love it! So much so, that I bought the wooden version too. Now the wooden model doesn’t rotate, it’s static. But the quality is remarkable.Kudos to Smallrig for this great little universe they have designed and built. Makes me feel like I’m a kid playing with LEGO again. I’m just glad they chose the route of quality for their designs and not junk.Ive had to use one of my fishing tackle boxes to house all the small parts and pieces I have purchased from Smallrig. A tackle box is a great storage idea. They should make one themselves (maybe they have one IDK)Anyways highly recommended

Versatile and ergonomic.
I love how this handle feels in my hand. Great weight and ergonomic design and the turning mechanism is sturdy and handy once you're used to it. Ideal for shooting B-roll or low angles. The only downside is that it's dedicated to one side.
