This is a great set for any Harry Potter fan. Very nice quality.

Short reads but a wonderful additive compendium to the Harry Potter series. VERY high quality and should hold up to many many reads!Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is much shorter than I anticipated. Each "beast" only has a sentence or two describing it but the foreword and footnotes are excellent editions. There is no plot (although there is a bit of history that describes why certain creatures are "beasts" instead of "beings"; ie, Centaurs and Mermaids) so the movie that is currently being filmed will be a complete surprise to readers. Peppered throughout the book are notes written by Harry, Ron, or Hermione, most pertaining to Hagrid and his love of beasts.Quidditch Through The Ages is a detailed account of how Quidditch came into being, a brief history of broom manufacture, descriptions of all British and many foreign teams (their winning/loss history, origin, team uniform, etc).The Tales Of Beedle the Bard is comprised half of children's stories and half of Dumbledore's thoughts thereupon. Footnotes from both JK Rowling and Dumbledore are included and give greater insight and delight to the stories. The stories themselves are uplifting and encourage honesty, courage, bravery, loyalty, mercy, kindness, and love. I am very excited to read these stories to my young children and hope that when they read the Harry Potter series for the first time, they will be excited to already be familiar with the stories Ron mentions in The Deathly Hallows.

I bought the slightly used version at a cheaper price so i knew what to expect. only 1 flaw the case that the 3 books where in was slightly broke. but i don't care these are the cutest little books. I immediately read the tale of the 3 brothers. I have never been so excited about books I've gotten except for these. I can't wait to buy more for my collection with my daughters.

If you're a true potterhead like me, you're probably gonna have a fun time reading these books. They're extremely short, but contain decent content. If you've read (or watched in the movies) some tales being mentioned for example like the tale of the three brothers, Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump etc, it's in there, which adds richness to when you come back to the part in deathly hallows when they mention it. There's also loads about quidditch and some magical creatures. The box and covers also look very nice. I don't think anyone who kinda likes harry potter should consider getting this, but if you're truly a potterhead, I say why not
