OtterBoxSymmetry Series Case for Google Pixel 5 - Non-Retail Packaging - Clear

My old other brand case was so old it was falling apart at the edges. As my phone gets older, it's hard to find any accessories for it. Obviously, Otterbox is a well known brand, and they had a clear cover for my phone (because why get a green phone if you cover it with an opaque cover?). The cover fits well. Everything lines up like it should. The side buttons are a little harder to press than they were on my old case, whether because it was a thinner case or just because it was worn out, but I'm getting used to it. Main thing is that it protects the phone and the fingerprint reader lines up comfortably. The fingerprint reader hole does have a nice sloped part under it, so it helps your finger fit comfortably and line up well (as opposed to just a circular cutout). So, good case and if it lasts half as long as the previous other brand one I had, I'm sure the phone will be obsolete by then anyway! ;)

I usually don't like Otterboxes because of how bulky they look but this one brings me joy. Fit my phone perfectly and seems to be durable so far. There is already a slight scuff mark on the back (haven't even dropped it yet) and I've only had it for a few weeks, but oh well. Still cute.

OtterBox makes great cases and this is no exception. This is a fantastic value at only $10. Solid hold on the phone without being impossible to remove. Good grip without turning your pocket inside out when you grab it. Clear color allows you to put photos inside or just see the phone's color.The only thing I'm not happy about is when you use the phone as a flashlight: the case acts almost like fiber optics and channels some of the light around both sides and the top of the phone and shine it in your face. It's not blinding, but definitely distracting and reduces how effective the flashlight itself is. A rim of black or reflective material around the camera array probably would fix it.

The case was great, nothing bad about it, just great. And for the price, it's worth it.

The case is average. BUT the problem is the cover makes it nearly impossible to press the on/off and volume buttons. It seems that the part that covers the buttons just doesn't fit close enough to the phone buttons and makes it so hard to press. The plastic is hard. Maybe if it was more flexible like rubber and touched closer to the phone? I don't know.As it is, there is no room to alter the way the cover fits and it's all just extremely annoying and very inconvenient.

I didn't actually get the opportunity to use this product, but preferred it to their more bulky design, which I have used for a couple of years now. This one would allow it to fit more comfortably in my pockets, which is where I carry my phone and be easier to remove.

I have had this on my new phone since I got it a month ago. Mine is clear so you can see the cool green color of my phone. It fits the phone snugly and I have dropped it several times and so far it has done an excellent job of protecting my phone. The fingerprint hole works perfectly. I have enjoyed this case. I had an OtterBox on my last phone and it is why I was looking for one for my new phone.
