There are lighter trowels but this one came in at a good price/weight ratio. Wont dig through hard dirt, but show me an aluminum trowel this light that will. The serrated edge was very useful for cutting through roots. The holes in the handle allow a mid-sized accessory carabiner clip if that's how you want to carry it.

These held up very well digging a cathole for my dog. Used in gravely soil by twisting to auger a hole. Couldn't imagine using the shorter ones out there.

This item is garbage. I know it's just a piece of metal but I'm not really even sure if this is metal. I could definitely bend the heck out of it with my bare hands. It feels like a cheap piece of plastic. Just use a rock or a stick, they'll probably last longer

I received two of the item but would have prefered just one if it was made better. Definetly lightweight and packable but can almost bend it with bare hand

This is great. It’s light weight and sturdy. I just wish it would come in a smaller size. Overall good value
