These instruments work very well when I photograph smaller items and need to use some type of measurement to reflect the actual size. The only negative is that the do reflect light so you need to make sure you have them or your lights adjusted at a proper angle to reduce or eliminate the reflection. Otherwise, they work and are constructed well. The cork on the bottom is a nice feature to help keep them from moving during photo shoots. Good Value

I am an engineer and I found these stainless steel metal rulers with cork backing perfect for my needs. They are thin and lightweight but they work for me. I have no problem recommending them. I am pleased.

Handy and like all the different sizes

My 12 year old has gotten into architectural sketching and is polishing up his one and two point perspective. These rulers are perfect! He leaves the big ones at home and take the 6’ one when we travel. It fits nicely into his notebook.

Almost didn't buy this because the picture shows the 12 inch ruler with marks that don't begin at the end. I was please to find that they all do. The first inch on both ends has extra marks for precision.These are great for woodworking. I bought a 2nd set because these are hard to find sometimes.

I needed a set of rulers for my studio. I was pleasantly surprised with this set. They are slim and lightweight, which is much easier to handle when blocking things on a page than a great big heavy metal yardstick. In this set, I have a choice of sizes to fit each task as needed. The backs have a thin layer of cork, so as you put one end in place, the other end isn't slipping and sliding out of position. There is a handy hole at the head of each ruler so you can hang them up on a nail, or tie them together with string or a twisty. The metal is smooth with finished edges so there is no snagging on flesh or clothes. The markings are baked on black enamel that is easy to read. For drafting, art work, or any household need, I can highly recommend this fine set of rulers.

I use the 6” and 12” the most. Not as expensive as another I’ve used but the steel and cork really keep this straight edge in place what making mattes or using an exacto.
