Definitely an upgrade from the plastic one my expresso machine came with.Fells great and weight is good. Easy to use and clean.I have nothing to compare this one to, but was worth the purchase!

This is a great tamper for the price. I have an inexpensive espresso machine and so was reluctant to splurge on accessories. Unless you want to buy those spring tamper, which costs more obviously, this is will definitely do the job. Fits my portafilter nicely and is heavy enough. Definitely an upgrade from those plastic scoop tampers. Will improve your coffee workflow.

Nice and sturdy. My only complaint is that it doesn’t quite fit flush in my portafilter, but I think that’s because I use a cheaper espresso machine (Delonghi) that has a weird portafilter. The espresso definitely tastes much better than the cheap tamper that came with the machine.

This is a simple tool, but it is just right for the job and is a great value. Comfortable and effective. You could spend a lot more, but why would you?

Great tamp for espressos at home. My husband and I got an espresso machine at Christmas that came with a lightweight plastic tamp that wasn’t very effective. This tamp was a serious upgrade . It has a weight to it to make tamping easy. Sturdy and good value. I think it looks nice, too!
