I reviewed Direct Lighting this morning. I posted 4 stars due to a faulty bulb. With in 2 hours I had a notice from Direct Lighting that a bulb is being sent. I recommend this company to anyone contemplating an order. Not only is the service exemplary, the light fixture arrived packaged well. The fixture is as represented and of fine quality. We had no problems installing it. We purchased it to spotlight 3 new paintings in our hallway. The glass is lovely and glows with warmth. I would not hesitate to order another.

Four stars for appearance. It’s what I pictured on my bathroom ceiling for over a year and it’s the perfect size for that area. But it was a 3 hour struggle for my 20 year old son with little electrical experience and we live in an older home where there was no sign of a ground wire in the electrical box which worried us both Not crazy about the halogen lights (are they supposed to give off heat???) so maybe I’ll switch to LED like other reviewers mentioned. They are very bright, might have to look into installing a dimmer switch if that’s compatible with this fixture.

Installed over the kitchen sink as accent lighting. Really love how it looks! Nice alternative to track lighting and a great price. Can’t speak on how easy it was to install- had my contractor put it in. He didn’t comment on whether it was difficult or not, so I’m assuming it was pretty easy for him to do. Blue 3 light version isn’t super bright but I didn’t need it to be. Maybe with different bulbs it would give off a better brightness but I adore it as is. I have the 4 light white version in my bathroom and that one produces a lot more light.

This is a very attractive light fixture, especially with the lights turned on. I would have rated it a "5" if not for the difficulty in securing the fixture to the light box mounted in the ceiling. There is not enough space provided for the wiring even after stuffing all the wiring that I could into the ceiling. The flange depth on the fixture needs to be deeper to facilitate holding the wiring. I never was able to get both nuts onto the bolts to fully secure the fixture. Fortunately, the fixture is partially hidden so the fact that it is secured with only one nut is not evident. A small design change to this fixture would make it a "5".

Great light. Replace included halogens with dimmable GU10s and it's awesome. Those complaining about head used the included cheap halogen bulbs which get hot as #@%!. Replace the bulbs with dimmable philips Gu10s (they have backlighting to make the pretty glass fixture light up) and you'll be fine.The glass shades are fairly small, so if you're looking for something large it ain't for you.

Runnnn stay away from it. Unless you have spaghetti fingers,a third arm or help you might be able to mount it on the ceiling. You still need W2 and at this point lots of tylenol or a beer or wine, to unscrew the ring that keeps the shade in place and a tool, or spaghetti fingers,to attach the ring to hold the glass shade in place. The tool included is a joke. I ended up using pliers. What should have taken me maybe 30 minutes took 2hours 30 minutes. The screws to hold the fixture are too short!!!! So I bend the cross bar down some in order to feed the screw into the hole. The nuts tread were striped and the light bulb housing had horrible treads. W2 to the rescue. There was so many cables I was worried the cable salad would not fit Sure enough I had a misserable time to fit them in the light box and out of my way to find the mounting holes. Material is a bit flimsy but the shades are pretty ,light on or off. When on the light reflects redisch on the ceiling which I like. Overall I am happy with it,now that it's up. The lights are not to bright or too dim. I use them to shine on my art work in my home office.To sum it upNo I can not recommend it.You can find better quality and easier to mount light fixtures.Bigger headache than worth it. Material is of awful quality.#ishouldoffreturneditrightaway.End rant!

Smaller overall than I thought it would be but the lights are very pretty and bright enough for the area I need it for. The install is best with more than 2 hands if possible. Remove the stickers from the inside of the Amber shades before attaching and hanging this. I forgot to do this part and the stickers on the inside of the shades are very obvious. Also, this series comes with the bulbs you need for it.

I guess I should have read the description better. I was hoping for something the size of the shades you see in a Wegmans coffee bar. These shades are the size of espresso cups. Wayy too small for a main fixture in a room. They look nice and would be good as accent lightning. I should have known the price was too good to be true. We will be returning these because they won't suit our needs.
