Not Solid Brass
These were installed in our home in 2005. I only purchase SOLID brass. Just having polished brass eventually looks like garbage, and unfortunately, these do look like garbage and started tarnishing in 2006. I used a quality polish that is specifically for brass. These are NOT SOLID brass. Shame on Sea Gull Lighting for continuing to advertise as such. I tried having mine refunded, but since a builder installed them, Sea Gull said I have to go through the builder. In fact, at the time, Sea Gull also said these were not available to the general public.Bottom line, don't purchase Sea Gull if you want a quality solid brass.
