Sounds great, perfect

It’s great to hear the old artists perform. This was back when singers could record their work beautifully without the assistance of any synthesizers. They were truly artists who could sing and dance and by today’s standards worked for pennies. Thanks!

Brought back many golden memories.

Absolutely wonderful collection of great music by a great group. I am from North Carolina where beach music is king and the Drifters were a huge part of that music genre and this album (CD) highlights some of the songs and memories that were a part of that very thing. Would recommend this collection of hits to anyone, especially beach music lovers everywhere.

Great Group , Great CD.

Had this on vinyl many years ago. Loved it then and love it now.

Obviously based on the original cassette, and maybe even the version in vinyl too, when the Americans usually got away with just ten or twelve tracks on an album. Nowadays you'd get at least double that, and a re-issue might even contain two CDs, but the thing is that this is QUALITY -- as the title says 'Golden Hits' (present day groups, please note that it means they sold a million!). They're all ORIGINALS too -- both the recordings and the line up, and certainly no re-recordings or awful live tracks by a later group with an inferior sound (so easy to be caught out on that score, but not this time). This is a truly brilliant collection of pure classics!

I was brought up on a mixture of Motown and soul and had this on vinyl 40 years ago (since lost) and recently replaced. The arrangements and harmonies are unbeatable. To me this is the link between the 50's and 60's and I am still amazed at the quality of the songs that never seem to age.

This was okay and very enjoyable going back over the songs I grew up with, but not a good as the original singles. But if you like Motown and the drifters then worth listening too.

My family had this old LP when I was a child, finding it on CD was a gem. Every golden song is a hit and brings back great memories. One of the best CD's in my collection. Buy it, it's brilliant.

Had this on tape but with the advancement of tecnology it was stored in the loft. i had'nt listened to it for ages wife brought me CD for xmas have been playing it since in the car.excellent songs if you like the drifters this is a must featuring three of the best lead singers in the groups line ups Ben.E.King, Rudy lewis & johnny moore they truely belt out the golden hits, give it a go you'll soon be sing along with them
