Works great!
We have been using it in our veterinary hospital multiple times a day for several months now. It still works great and leaves a smooth finish.

Best thing ever for dog nail care!
I have been dremeling my dog's nails twice/week for many years. Blissfully (and stupidly) unaware that there is a better option, I have previously always used the tiny dremel sanding cylinders.I happily stumbled across this little gem while searching an unrelated topic, and I almost feel as though a spotlight shined down upon me while striking music blared loudly from surround sound speakers the first time using this doohickey. It is absolutely genius! So much faster, aoens more efficient than the sanding cylinders! The curved angles and perfect-for-nails grit literally shave (see what I did there?) several minutes off of each of my dog's mani/pedi's. Buy this doohickey, you will not be sorry!

I love how smooth the nail is BUT
This is my first time using this type of file. I usually use the sandpaper ones. I love the shape of the bit and most importantly there are no nail snags and splits. Also after filing I use the bowl shape at the top to round the edges of the nail. I highly recommend this bit.Edit to add that it’s making my dremel get very loud . I broke one dremel and bought a new one and the new one started getting loud . I even tried it on my corded dremel and it changes the way the machine sounds . I’m not sure if it’s too heavy ?I really loved this and was using on all dogs but now I am keeping it on my heavy duty dremel and just finishing dogs nails at the end with this bit to smooth the nails out and not wear down my cordless dremel.

Works great in a Dremel for dog nail trims.
I purchased a Dremel (very quiet) for pets and this 60 grit nail grinder attachment to use for nail trims. The tool continues to run very quietly with this attachment and it does a great job. Personally, I feel I can get a much better and shorter trim using this tool versus using dog nail clippers. My dogs tolerate use of the grinder much better than the clippers, also. My dogs are large, Standard Goldendoodle and Standard Poodle, and I wish they offered this in a 40 grit, also. Hint, hint!

not well balanced
keep the old ones that can be replaced. This one is too harsh and vibrates due to imbalance and poor qc.

I wish I had this sooner!
I just used this for the first time today, and it was incredible! It would usually take me upwards of an hour or longer to Dremel my two dogs' nails. Between the old bit just taking a while to grind off the nails, and then my dogs getting fussy and fighting back, nail time was something to be dreaded and put off. THIS BIT CHANGED EVERYTHING! It fit into my Dremel like any other bit. I turned it on and it just took down the nails so easily. I used to have to use a nail clipper to take off the length before I Dremeled it smooth, which my dogs hated. This just worked, quickly, and easily. No more clippers first. My only warning is that to watch closely how much nail to take off, because you can get to the quick (and blood supply) pretty fast. This was the quickest I have ever done my two dog's nails! I would say barely 10 minutes per dog. My dogs didn't really get a chance to fight back because it was all so fast. I got both done in less time then it normally took me to do one. Would recommend, with the warning of watching carefully and stop before hitting blood. When it removes nail this quickly, it gets to the blood supply pretty fast. Five stars.

Worth the money
I wish I’d purchased this a few years ago. It’s totally worth the money. I have two large dogs and a friend has a small one. I use this on all of them. It’s quicker and easy to gauge.

Doesn’t heat up like sand grinder
The media could not be loaded. I like this grinder, you do need to hold nail to get a better grind. The video is just to show that my dog is not fussed by the grinder or noise after some training.Take your time to introduce your dog, it will pay off in the end.
