Live Red Wiggler Composting Worms from Meme's Worms (100ct - 1/10th lb)

Bought these for use in our compost. Living in the southwest, you often have to check in on the moisture of your compost. These critters are still alive despite the drought and heat! They've seen it all and still continue to work their magic. The best part was taking them out of their bag with our little one. She absolutely loved handling them and adding them here and there in our garden. Will definitely look for these again next year.

The worms arrived few days later in good care and they all looked healthy. Interesting, they all clump together when they arrived. Take them apart very careful. I wore disposable gloves. Depends how big or small area of soil, leave a few worms together. They depends on each other through their bodies. Make sure the temperature in the soil is comfortably warm, not too hot. Their skins cannot be dried. They like moisture soils. It was fun to see those crawlies worms knowing they got a good home.

They shipped with a heaping handful of damp moss-dirt stuff in a burlap bag packed in a box with shredded cardboard. My thanks for the free brown material! I noticed no fetid(a) odor which would indicate rough handling and wormy distress. Would buy more worms.Splitting them up into two groups was fun. They'd formed a big wormy tangle lump.I don't have a 'vermicomposter', but my new worm friends seem content to munch about in my johnson-su style composter.Do recall that there was a period during the early months of the pandemic when package deliveries were widely delayed. Today you probably needn't be concerned about timely delivery and the worm condition.

Don't buy if your area is too hot 90's or above. Our temperatures were in the high 90's and above 100. These little critters disappeared and left all the food. So sad.

The information that came with the worms said they might be dehydrated or sluggish, but these guys were in perfect condition! I would definitely order from here again.
