I put this Neewer NATO handle on an older Smallrig cage where I already had one handle and it perfectly balances the whole rig now that I have a handle on the opposite side. And amazingly, the materials are an exact match - same color, same grip circumference, same nonslip silicone grip surface, same weight. The clamp mechanism is easy to use; you just twist it shut and it is locked on tightly to your rail. And this handle is even better than the old handle because on the top it has a cold shoe mount which I desperately needed!You have the option to turn this into a left or right side handle and you can slide the placement of the handle up or down within the channel of the grip. You do need to make sure you have a NATO rail on your cage to attach the clamp. However, even if you don't have an available NATO rail, you can easily purchase one from Neewer or Smallrig. They come in various lengths and I went with the shortest one being about 2" length and standard NATO width of about 20-21mm. You should note that the small NATO rails use the smaller 1/4" screws so you need two of this size hole on the side of your rig which measure within the channel length of the rail you buy.The quality of this handle is excellent and it is compatible with Neewer and Smallrig cages and accessories. I have noticed that Neewer is offering more sizes and better quality options for the cages and other photography accessories that I need!

This grip attaches nicely to my Sony a7iii’s Magicrig cage. It serves well as a side mounted handle on either side and can be used as a top handle. The cold mount is snug for all of my attachments such as mics, wireless lav, monitor, etc. I recommend this well-made gadget.

Me dejó satisfecho la compra. Está muy bien por el precio y calidad. Si tienes una mirrorles, con una es suficiente para maniobrar y hacer contrapeso si te gusta hacer ajustes a la cámara al momento de grabar. Recomendaría comprar 2 cuando ya uses todo un set con Monitor, Micro, Hard Drive, y demás accesorios.

Very good build quality

I have this on my r5 mainly used when I’m taking a lot of flash . Good balance with flash and mag modifier on (takes weight of hot shoe) haven’t used it for video yet
