I have hardwood floors and have always had to have a floor protector and even then the chairs would roll badly and collect a LOT of hair... these new wheels roll much more smoothly than stock chair wheels, give about an inch of extra height and don't clog up with hairAnd they're a lot safer on my hardwood - I can finally ditch those ugly floor protectors!!!

I replaced the wheels that came with my chair with a set of these. They are in every way a huge improvement. Also... Entirely too much fun on a hard floor!

These are excellent replacements for standard wheels. They allow for easy movement when moving between desks and other furniture. Since I like adjusting my office every few months, I have placed them on three office chairs and similar ones on other furniture to make movement easier.

These are better caster wheels.I've been retrofitting my chairs with rubbery wheels because I'm switching to hardwood floors. As such, I've ordered a lot of different sets. I think these ones are average because the wheels don't spin very long and the top bearings feel a little gritty. The top bearings are the one that are around the metal piece that goes into the chair.

The price is great, and sometimes that comes with the risk that the wheels may not last. I've been using these daily for almost a year and it performs as good as new.

Just as the title says, the castors for into standard office chair castor slots and is very easy to install. Raises the height of the chair a little as well, which is a bonus for my kids. The rolling action is smooth and it does not mar the floors. Great product.
