Flawless Installation. Product installed and worked immediately. No issues with installation. Excellent directions.Very satisfied. Extended the life of my hp EliteBook for pennies on the dollar over OEM part. At this price and ease of install, even if the battery only lasts several months, it is still value for the coinage. Easy to install, tools included, working well so far.
Perfect fit, good instructions, and the tools to install.Hard to rate quality and battery life, haven't tested it. Seemed to perform as well as the original during the "seasoning" of the battery... Charge fully, discharge fully... 3x's...You can see from the picture the old battery was no longer any good; everything matched and fit perfectly. The other pictures show the location of the battery and how it drops into place.If you're questioning your technical skills, give it a try anyway... just have the local 12 year old on standby in case you have trouble. If your closeup vision isn't very good and bright light doesn't help, you probably want to have someone else do this, those little screws on the bottom of the laptop are the hardest part of this process. Fear not... but use a white towel and good lighting and you'll be fine...The hardest part about changing the battery on the HP laptop was not losing the tiny screws. Recommend placing the laptop on a white or solid light colored towel so you don't scratch the case and if the screws fall out of the bottom you'll find them easily.There's no reason why anyone could not replace this battery themselves. The instructions are clear and the tools will work fine, just do NOT overtighten or force them. The tools seem to be intended to be used once or twice. There is no real danger of damaging your laptop, just don't fiddle with things you don't understand when you're in there. Excellent value for the battery. When my other HP needs a battery I'll be buying this product again.

Learn how easy it is to access the battery compartment before buying
It wasn't as easy as I had jhoped to remove the back of my laptop to access the battery compartment. Once I did, however, the battery was easy to replace.You need to "train" the battery by charging/draining a few times which is a bit of a pain, but maybe they're all like that.
