Well that was something...
This one was not bad at all, but man was it long. Not too scary for those who like less fear in their reading.Anyways, this was about Jack, who fell down and woke up being 13 again, losing his family all in one swoop. There were ghosts, some good and one not. It ends in a cliffhanger in regards to Jack. There were also povs from other people that really shouldn't have happened. Also, this should have been about 100 pages less. Some places dragged on too long and there were way too! many! random! exclamation! points! But the idea was good. It just wasn't executed very well.

A Great read for all fans of the Horror Genre
The Book of Souls by Kevin Moore is what we can classify as moderate horror. The book begins and centers on the life of the happy family of Jack Kelly and his wife Katherine who were enjoying their nuptial ties with their kids Stevie, Lily, and Mike. However, things quickly turn from ideal to the opposite when their son Stevie falls ill with a baffling illness that doctors cannot ascertain. Jack's life becomes traumatized and he begins to see and experience strange things. Along the line, shadows surround Jack and knock him into an unconscious state. When Jack regains his consciousness, he finds himself trapped inside the body of a 13 years old boy. Whatever knocked him out also bestows him with uncanny abilities to hear, feel and see things from other worlds.Jack's new purpose begins to make itself manifest and he was no longer the man he used to be. The book has well-developed plots and characters and comes with a mild blend of horror. Not the kind that will make you scared of your own shadow. The Book of Souls is a great book for those who love to read the horror genre.

Great read
The Book of Souls by Kevin Moore is like a horror movie with a lot of twist and turns. The main character, Jack Kelly, is a 47-year-old man with a wife and three children. He met in a terrible accident and woke up as his 13-year-old self and with a strange ability to talk to ghosts and demons. He kept asking for his wife and children but the doctors told him he is 13 and couldn't have a family. Jack needs answers so he begins a journey to find out what happened to his life before the accident. Will Jack find the answers he seeks or will he remain 13-years-old and have to start his life all over again. This was a very interesting read.

Very Interesting and Disturbing
If you are easily affected by horror this probably is not the best book for you. Lots of spiritualism, religious beliefs, and scares. Well-written, thought-provoking and often provocative. It is not by any means a clean book, as there are many taboos addressed. If you are strong in your own beliefs, then try this.

Creepy ghost story
The Book of Souls by Kevin Moore is a science fiction and fantasy series. The cover alone was enough to intrigue me into this book. I could not help but wonder what this book held in store for readers. It was such an interesting and adventurous book. I am so glad I had the opportunity to read this one. There is suspense and a sense of mystery as well as horror. There are demons and ghosts and dead people. The main character, Jack, goes through such a weird and unexplainable experience but it hooks you from the very beginning. I love the creepiness of this story. I was so into this book that it was hard not to feel the remains of the story after I was done. A must read for ghost story fans!
