Excellent eraser quality in convenient holder
I love the Staedler block white erasers. They remove all traces of pencil without tearing up the paper, but, as you use them, you get to a point where you can't erase small lines or parts of a drawing or sketch. This is a nice neat pencil end style eraser - but with the ability to use and use and use it because it's essentially a long stick in a holder. It's very convenient. Definitely recommend. It's a better eraser than the standard click eraser from the office supply store.

Simply the best eraser
I have been using this brand since elementary school and while I have tried others, I always come back to this brand.

Essential tool for artists/designers!!
I bought my first one when I was in school for Interior Design and it was my best friend! Now that my son has taken up drawing I bought this for him, he loves it!! It's a true game changer. Everyone who uses a pencil should have this!! you can erase little intricate things without using the big white eraser and tearing up your work or erasing more than you'd hoped to. And with drawing, a white eraser is hands down the best, as it will not leave marks or residue on your work.

Great product for all students
If you're shopping for a college bound student this is a must have, when mechanical pencil, wood pencil, and charcoal pencil erasers don't stand up to the amount of corrections to notes during a three-hour lecture, you need a standalone eraser that is easy to pack, easy to find, and takes up the space of a pencil. It pays for itself over a semester, and hard to leave home without it.

Decent, but rubber works better
This "plastic" eraser does work well, but if you have to erase an entire word or several words, this eraser smudges way more than a rubber eraser and you then need to erase the smudges after you are done erasing the words you want to change. If you have more than one word to erase, the "eraser head" gets all smudged-up and needs to be cleaned by "erasing" blank spaces on a clean sheet of paper. This ends up wearing down the eraser twice as fast. This is good for erasing a few letters written in pencil, but for more? No, it just smudges and smears, then needs time to clean it before you can use it again.Stick with the classic pink pearl-type rubber eraser.

Quiet, High Quality Eraser and Holder
Stick erasers enable me to erase with more precision than block erasers. The Mars Plastic stick eraser holders are nice because they can be extended and retracted silently by pressing down on the sliding mechanism, unlike the Pentel Clic erasers. This is important when I am writing in the library. The eraser itself is a bit firm, so it can catch on paper and rip it, but it lasts longer than a comparable length of softer eraser.

Keep them everywhere I write
I find using a stick eraser quicker than using the one on my mechanical pencils or a block eraser. As a teacher, I erase a lot when planning. I have my favorite Pentel mechanical pencil and a stick eraser stashed together at multiple work stations. The stick eraser is easier to store and more precise than a larger block eraser. Also, the case keeps the eraser clean (no unwanted smudges).
