I once had a very heavy iron trivet that always seemed ready to scratch the granite countertop. When it mysteriously disappeared (as things do often around here), I jumped at the chance to replace it. These Smitchcraft silicone trivets are just what I need. They protect smooth counter surfaces from hot pots and trays, keeping them safe from accidental gouges too. They’re lightweight, flexible, store easily in a drawer and look pretty. I washed them once in the top dishwasher tray and they came out fine. A nice find.
