Wonderful if you like fine, detailed work
This adult coloring is, hands down, my favorite. The spiral top & size are perfect for maneuvering to access every section of the detailed designs, without smudging, no matter which brand of gel pen I use. (I have a couple of sets that do smudge on other books). The thickness of the lines is just right to guide without being bold. The intricately detailed designs, which require small motion pen stokes, is exactly what I like. It takes me up to 4 hrs to complete one design. The designs are original & challenge me to plan a pleasing color palette. I love the challenge. The paper weight & quality is wonderful for gel pens. The front & back cardboard covers are thick & sturdy.I hesitated to pay $15 for the small size, but so happy I did. I have already ordered the other books from this artist, as well as another copy of this one.

Good product!
I have two books about Scandi and Celtic culture and I enjoyed them a lot. I use gel pens, alcohol markers and ultra fine nib markers, those usually bleed through on thinner paper. But this paper is just simply great, no bleed-through to the next page, anyway a blotter is included. This is a nice little book with a wide variety of images from different topics. I like it!

Everybody needs this coloring book!
Recently I am just addicted to this author's coloring books: the amount of details plus amazing designs on a good quality paper (I like to use gel pens) is the winning combination. So very highly reccomended!

Disappointing coloring book
This coloring book is very disappointing and I would not recommend it. Several pages are duplicated with the same coloring pages and at the end of the book a few of the coloring pages do not seem like they capture the folk art theme and instead look like they were almost just computer generated with squares to color in. These pages are so different from the rest of the book that it looks like publisher was just trying to fill in space on a few remaining pages of this book.
