Gravity Defyerwomens Mighty Walk Athletic Inspired Sneakers

I really wanted to like these and hoped they would help with my knee pain. I had knee surgery a few months ago and still had some risidual pain. I work retail and spend a lot of time on my feet. I was hesitant to buy these bc of the high price but decided if it would help my knees it would be worth it.The shoes arrived quickly and fit well. I have big wide feet and the toe box on this shoe is very spacious. The variety of inserts to customize fit were a nice touch. I read all the instructions on how to acclimate to these shoes. Unfortunately after 2.5 months of wearing them I had to give up. The soles on these things are so absurdly huge that it feels like I'm wearing the same platform sneakers I wore in the 90s. I found myself constantly tripping on things, twisting my ankle on uneven surfaces, and just all around being very unsteady on my feet. The huge soles combined with the rocker bottom is a dangerous combination for me. I can't say if these helped me at all because I was constantly hurting my knee trying not to fall. I consider myself to be a fairly coordinated person with great balance (20 years of ballet training) and I struggled so hard with these shoes. I guess some people can make them work but they are definitely not for me.

They don't let your feet breathe very well. They came used, there was dirt and flower petals in the treads.
