but everything looked fine (and you can NOT open it in any way
5 weeks old... oh it gave me a decent if not spectacular stream at first. Two weeks ago, it no longer aerated, it was a "blotchy" stream of clear water, no aeration at all (i.e. not a smooth stream). 3 days ago, all it could do was spitter and spatter from every orifice, no way could I get any kind of stream at all. Yup, the spray did seem to work, but 98.9% of the time I need a stream... took it off and looked, but everything looked fine (and you can NOT open it in any way; no obstructions of any kind. Same thing when I re-installed it. AND here I really liked the metal "inner" screw threads that meshed perfectly with my faucet without any of the plastic "adapters."

LITTLE AERATOR DOES A BIG JOB AND DOES IT WELL!
I PURCHASED A BATHROOM FAUCET THAT TURNED OUT THAT THE NOZZLE WHERE THE WATER COMES OUT WAS TOO SHORT TO GET MY HANDS COMFORTABLY UNDER IT TO WASH MY HANDS. IT WAS VERY ANNOYING AND I DID'NT WANT TO PAY MORE MONEY TO MY PLUMBER TO CHANGE THE FAUCET. THEN WHEN SHOPPING ON AMAZON I LOOKED INTO AN EXTENDER TO PUT ON THE END OF THE NOZZLE TO MAKE IT LONGER AND I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN AMAZON WOULD SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS ALWAYS! THEY HAD A PICTURE OF WHAT I NEEDED TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM, A SWIVEL AERATOR THAT EXTENDS THE FAUCET NOZZLE TO ALLOW YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS IN COMFORT. SO, FOR A FEW DOLLARS I NOW AM HAPPY TO SAY MY PROBLEM IS SOLVED AND MY FAUCET IS PERFECT, THANKS AMAZON!!!!!

Works Great!
Read a couple of bad reviews on this so I was a bit hesitant.I think perhaps a couple of the bad reviews were because some peopleweren't installing them correctly. I unscrewed the old aerator from my kitchen faucetand tightened the new unit on. Seemed simple enough but it started leaking when I swiveledthe spray. I then took off the unit and used some plumber's white teflon tape on the faucetand screwed & tightened the unit back on. The aerator spray now works perfectly! No leaks! Also as an added tip for some that may not know, the unit can go from spray to full stream by justpushing the spray end up or pulling it down..9 months later...It's been 9 months now and no leaks. Still works perfectly! Use plumber's white teflon tape. That will do the trick..

Love this item.
In my last apartment I had a faucet with pull-out sprayer head. I really missed the sprayer when I moved t my current apartment. Then I found this. Easily switches from stream to spray, and the swivel makes it easy to rinse out the sink.

Too stiff even after a month of use
Only so so. Very stiff swivel. It does work, but rather less handy being so difficult to move the sprayer around. I feel as though I wasted this $8, since I will have to buy another in hopes of a more functional swivel spray.

Excellent!
Excellent! Wanted to put this on my bathroom sink to make cleanup easier after I shave and get up the stubble. This swivels nicely and smoothly and give us more proportion to the water. Most people might not want that for the bathroom but I did and this does the job in a very excellent and efficient way. Greg construction as well!

Works fine.
My old kitchen faucet aerator broke after about 15 years use. I don't think this one will last as long (not as well made), but it does the job as a replacement. I doubt that I can find one these days that performs like the old one did. It's stiff to turn/rotate when tightened and if forced I think it would break.

Was nice but...
It worked fine for a month or so but now it doesn't stay in either full spray or full flow modes. Always somewhere in between. It's stiff to turn/rotate. Thought it would last as it's not plastic like the ones I used to buy in the supermarket but now I need a new/different one after a few months

Be Careful..
Bought this to finish off a new kitchen tap I recently installed. I've always used them in the kitchen and thought this would be just a simple installation but soon discovered there's a design flaw with this one. There's inside and outside threads for both male and female application but be careful if, like me, you use it for male into female. The first time I tried it with the smaller of the two washers (supplied) it leaked and so was able to back it off and try it with the thicker one. This time after noticing a small drip still coming from the threads I tried tightening it. Long story short...the threads have become recessed into the female end of the faucet and it's now impossible to back it off as there's nothing to bite onto with any type of wrench...normally there's two small divots in the aerator to put an aerator wrench on for exactly this purpose but much to my dismay I discovered too late that this one was designed without the ability to remove it once it's installed if the end of your faucet has internal threads....

Good overall
Good, it works, unlike the Ecostar one I bought before which was rubbish and is now just kept for spares. My only issue is that it may save water, partly due to the aerating effect but also partly because it reduces the flow - there is a very small hole in the inlet side, looks to me about 2mm. However, it is enough here as we have pretty good pressure, but if your pressure is low the flow may not be enough.

Poor quality
I've given up trying to find a reliable one of these, I've bought a few now and they all break after a few weeks :( Moving between spray and stream is too stiff and I end up pulling the end of it out of the ball joint type fitting :( Would not recommend.

Poor pressure and the thread is both tiny and rough ...
Poor pressure and the thread is both tiny and rough so it does not screw easily. After a while i found out this was actually a (not so) cheap copy of a different product and got the other one - and the difference is amazing, both in set up and pressure.

Five Stars
This is a really good water saver. It flows much less and still more than enough for washing dishes.
