Good cake for a restricted diet
Had to make a birthday cake for someone on the FODMAP diet and this was the closest cake to the requirements for that! The cake didn't rise a huge amount but enough to be able to slice in half and add strawberries and cream - and for someone on a reluctant food restriction this was a joy for his birthday when he thought he wouldn't be able to have any cake (not medical advice btw, I'm not a doctor or dietician!)

Awful don't buy
This was disgusting. It landed in the bin. Taste was artificial in many ways and the cake was falling apart and texture too dry but it was the taste that made it land in the bin. My hubby literally spit it out. :(

Worth a try!
Sadly, this came out a bit grainy! I was really excited to give a free from box mix a try but it didn’t hit the mark. If I was baking again I’d have used a better sugar source as I added extra honey and it lacked sweetness. It wasn’t badly flavoured and was really easy to make but I’m not sure I’d buy again.

It doesn’t turn out as described, it’s not soft, it’s quite dense. I made it for a friend that’s lactose intolerant and hopefully she will like it?

Very delicious moist vegan cake mix
Everybody loved this cake mix, even the non vegan, they did not notice it was vegan.

Delicious
Very easy to make. Don’t need to add any additional sweetener; this is totally unnecessary, and adds nothing to the finished cake (I’ve made this several times).Works equally well with coconut oil, oat milk, butter and dairy milk. Texture is soft, quite crumbly and very more-ish.*EDIT* 1 star knocked off at a later date as the price has increased disproportionately - it's now unacceptably expensive at £6.45 for a single cake.

Delicious!
Fantastically moist tasty gluten free cake mix. I used coconut oil and oat milk. Just a note that it is quite a sweet rich cake so go easy on the sugar when decorating. I'd pair it with Strawberries or summer fruits.
